Express Food Mart

Nice small convenience market. Good for grab and go items. Snacks and common food items ice cream and a good selection of adult beverages. It has just about eve thing you need if you are not too picky. Staff is laid back and friendly.

The Express Food Mart is a small convenience store with a surprisingly good selection and prices for its size located in the heart of Salisbury Beach. It has most everything for your convenience needs such as eggs bacon cheese English muffins chips pasta soups candies ice cream milk water soda. It carries vegetables such as lettuce tomatoes peppers onions potatoes all at a reasonable price. It has a good beer selection. Other sundries and first aid supplies. It has a slurpee machine!! The staff is friendly. Easy parking out front.

An amazing neighborhood store that is under-appreciated! They have just about everything you need at reasonable prices. You will not regret coming here! The owners and workers are understanding and will do anything to help you find the products that you are searching for! Highly recommend this store!! :)

The market is classic, but the hidden gem is Oceanside sandwich shop in the back. Do not skip this one!

As the area is lacking in supermarkets I've had to step into the convenience store today, however, being the only one in the area, it boosts high prices for mediocre merchandise.

Some small neighborhood supermarkets would feature specialty, deli style, or local products that make them worth the visit compared to a more affordable and comprehensive big chain supermarket, this is not one of them.
Produce here is a secondary thought, with the only fresh things available being some oranges and old onions, according to the shop keeper even the eggs are brought in once every two months, specially in a slow touristic season like the fall and winter!

The staff member there was helpful and friendly though, and the place fairly clean, you could also find some coffee and donuts (though I dare not ask how long have they been on the shelf), this is a good enough place for a pack of gum at most, not even a soda as the vending machines near the beach are cheaper, so I would suggest to skip it and take an extra 10 minutes to drive to a proper supermarket.

I live down the street from EXPRESS FOOD MART. I awoke this morning to an overflowing toilet and bathtub due to blockage between road and home. I drove to EXPRESS FOOD MART and LAUNDRY ROOM in utter pain and need to use facilities. We've all been in desperate need of a bathroom, have we not? You know what I'm saying? Laundry room has no bathroom (good luck to moms or dads doing laundry with their kids in tow!) I then entered EXPRESS FOOD MART and, bent over in pain, asked to use the bathroom. The elderly gent wasted no time with a hard-nosed NO! I told him that I hope he never is in the same need I was feeling at that very moment. He blunted This is not a public rest room." So much for neighbors who ask us to support their business but do no reciprocate in an emergency. Needless to say, I will boycott EXPRESS FOOD MART and the adjoining LAUNDRY ROOM. The gent had no obligations to me and I have none to him. So be it!
