Awesome little store!!! I went with my friend and we were only in the area for a day, but they set us up with night crawlers, minnows, and other live bait. super informative, awesome store!!!

Edit: if I could give this place a 6/5 I would. Nothing was working, we switched approaches and caught 10-20 fish.

These gentlemen are experts at what they do. They are knowledgeable sportsmen and excellent technicians of everything Archery. The store has hard to find items as well.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but this one deserves it. I have been driving past Garden State Bow and Reel on my way home from work for a while now. Kept intending to stop in and today I finally had the time to buy some tackle, and go fish.

With the ease and accessibility of ordering just about everything online these days, these guys are a prime example of why brick and mortar with always be the superior experience. I legitimately had a cart online with different colored chatterbaits that I simply didn’t click order on, came in here and they had it all, didn’t have to pay shipping and was able to fish with them the same day of purchase. I was beyond pleased.

Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the gentleman that I assume runs the store, otherwise I would address him by name. However, he had done an excellent job in showing me around for different baits I was looking for and pointing me towards different brands and options for specific soft plastics. The selection is great and the color choices and options are on par with every other big box store selection, plus some of the more specialty baits used for bigger species that you flat out can’t just run to a department store and pick up. One bait I have been looking for but can’t find on shelves is the Berkeley Choppo, I was in between sizes and the owner had given me some confidence in picking up the larger size and surely enough I managed to hook my first fish on a plopper style bait just an hour later. Great shop, great Sussex county charm to the environment, great people. These guys beat out box stores and online stores any day of the week, I’m already excited for my next stop in!

Amazing customer service, we went there for archery supplies for my 11 year old and didn't know anything about what I wanted or was buying. Steve walked the store with us and helped us pick out some awesome stuff and the other gentlemen was wonderful also he showed my 2 year the fish and helped me carry everything to my car. We love the new bow and supplies we got and will return for fishing bait and supplies soon. Thank you!

Was recommended Garden State Bow by a friend and I was so glad I made the drive. Dino was very helpful, knowledgable, patient and spent the time getting me all set up with a bow from scratch. I absolutely love my Hoyt Ventum and all of the parts with it! Will absolutely be coming back for accessories, arrows and any of my hunting needs. Highly recommend.

The selection is amazing. The guys that work there are super friendly and knowledgeable. Always have live bait and insane bow selection.

Been coming here since I was a little kid. One of the guys there took me out to the Skylands field across the street and taught me how to use a spinning reel when I was just starting out as a little guy. Dino, the owner, is exceptionally helpful.

Great people!! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. Customer service is 10 🌟!! I'm new in hunting and they were very helpful and answered all my questions. I wasn't forced to buy anything but they still spent a good amount of time with me and my son answering all our questions. Like I said 10 🌟 on Customer service!!!

I just purchased a recurve bow at this store. I first went to Davis outdoor Sports store in Suffern NY and they treated me like DIRT! When I first entered this store I was attended to immediately. I know NOTHING about archery. The gentleman who helped me took his time and explained as much as he could to me without making my head explode. He spent 2 hrs with me and DOWNSIZED me into the proper bow. Which cost less then I was prepared to spend. They strung my bow, fitted me for proper shaft size, cut and inserted the screw holes for the arrow tips and helped me with everything to my truck. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store! It is worth the trip!

This place ROCKS!! Dino fixed my damaged TenPoint Turbo crossbow in no time at all. Good as new. Store is loaded with anything you could possibly need for bow hunting and fishing. I won't go anywhere else!

Both of the gentlemen I dealt with are incredibly helpful and took the time to explain any information I needed. They also have a huge selection of gear that never left me wanting to checkout any online stores. I would recommend this shop to anyone hands down.
