Just went shopping there for Doug and Melissa toys for my grandsons. The General Store has an excellent collection plus great prices. There are also so many hand-made and one-of-a-kind items that it is a great place to get unique gifts while enjoying the flavor of the old time general store.

Great store for Christmas shopping The lady is really down to earth! There is a lot of merchandise that has been made in the usa…They have great wooden spoons made in the usa, some socks made in Montague, Mi, and some clay coffee mugs that are left/right hand specific. They are called hand warmers and they are made in Washington state! A really cool place to explore what is available at local small businesses!

Best little fabric store in Whitehall. Toys, knickknacks, cookie cutters, sewing motions, fabric, and so much more. We always find treasures when we visit. Very friendly staff too.

Amazing as well as unusual fabric selections! Fabric Is very high quality. It’s about a 70 mile drive each way but it’s totally worth it
