This place is out of this world,
Or state..... cool little mini mart 😎
Has a liquor license to sell takeout alcohol.
Protein shakes, food, cold drinks candy and just about anything else that you would need.

Thanks again. For the great service!!

I'd give Dave and his store 6 stars if I could. I don't get the bad rep here--have been here twice also, and Dave was super awesome and friendly every time! This is a great small market in the Park City Village (the only one) that has milk, frozen food, alcohol, sundries and tons of snacks.

Dave is great!

This is a mountain-side convenience store - not a grocery store for your weekly groceries. Food For Thought has everything you will need for a quick run. Fresh fruit, hot coffee, bags of coffee, creamers/milk, soup, bread, breakfast essentials, alcohol, etc. The prices are higher than typical but that is because it is a mountain-side convenience store...
The personnel was helpful and kind, price checked all my items for me and helped me find ice skating rentals. Ill be back for sure!

An amazing person working there.
They also sell booze which nobody knows but it’s an official state liquor store.
Prices do seem crazy but sometimes having a little chat helps.

I had a lovely time at this establishment. I talked to the owner for a while - she was very kind and conversational. I learned about the history of the store while she helped me find everything. She was patient and willing, sharing stories and hot chocolate recipes. I will definitely be back!

PrIcEs ArE tOO HigH. Lol. Every one of the staff I spoke to over my 4 day stay here were great. It is expensive but it is in a ski resort. Good little selection of bits that you might need

Food for Thought is a tiny grab and go market. It's a fine little place for what it is: a convenient location to grab a drink or a few basic groceries to tide you over. Keep in mind that it *is* a convenience store in a resort area, and the prices reflect that. If you're looking to do actual grocery shopping, Fresh Market isn't far away and you can take the free bus in front of Park City Mountain Resort, a resort shuttle, or walk to get there. I stopped in to Food for Thought late after our first day in Park City for coffee and creamer and a couple of basics and found the items I needed with no problem. It's a tiny, tight fit of a store, but the employees were quite friendly and willingly answered a couple of questions about the area, too.

Better than a $20 salad - complaining about high prices at PC seems a bit naive. Just appreciate you have one reasonable (not cheap) option or maybe toss some food in your pack. You have a lift ticket, but the price of Sour Patch Kids is a real hardship?

They conveniently sell beer, wine, and spirits within walking distance of the local condos. Due to state law they only sell beer on Sundays, not wine or liquor.

Very convenient with ok range of products but extremely high prices and certainly dont expect a friendly welcome. But when you need something quickly then I guess you have to size up the difference between walking into the supermarket or paying 3x as much for it..... The high prices perhaps would have seemed not so bad had their been a smile on the other side of the counter. How much do smiles cost?

Fairly expensive however it is convenient. I would recommend taking the free bus service to fresh market and back if you have time. But if you are in a rush and need something in a pinch you will have to pay for convenience.

The hours posted said the store was open until 9 pm on Tuesday. Went by at 7:30, and it was already closed.
