Deer Valley Resort

Wonderful service from dropping off skiers, parking, shuttle quickly to the first lift, skis and poles storage on site at no extra cost, courteous and helpful staff. Great experience on and off the slopes. ALSO lower altitude makes it easier for those struggling with resorts over 10000 feet. Be sure to see the Olympic museum, simply incredible!

Absolutely the best ⛷ski resort in Utah.
Well groomed runs, awesome views all over, wide selections of great gourmet 😋food, plenty of lockers, huge parking lot with free shuttle service, very clean facilities and most of all, very efficient and very professional crews. Lift tickets may be pricey but you know they serve you with that extra care 💝 Good job DV crews and management 🏆

Only positive experience at deer valley. The staff and service were the tops. The line management was perfect. All staff were smiling and friendly. The mountain is the best the greens and blues were more than enough and were equivalent to blues and blacks at other mountains.

The staff was at all maps at mountain tops and they gave great advice.

I just can only go on and on about service. 100%

The food was legit and honestly was respectable restaurant food. The food is definitely better than most/all sit down chain food

The trails had ski patrol consistently and effectively

And the trails had plenty of “slow” signs for when the trail became narrow or steep We always felt safe and “looked after”

Deer Valley is an amazing place to ski. I was even more impressed with this resort when I got hurt skiing. The staff was so helpful and kind to get me the help I needed. The on-site nurse was very knowledgeable and took amazing care of me. And then, the resort helped me with credit for my lift ticket expense. I have always enjoyed skiing at Deer Valley but their service level when I needed it most blew me away!

We love the resort for skiing. It is a skier only resort, so no snowboarding. There is a big enough variety of terrain for all levels. The cafes have good food options, and the service and staff are all friendly and helpful.

Deer Valley is the place for skiers. It is one of the most beautiful landscapes.

Lots of lifts long runs.

If you like moguls there are plenty.

The Snowshoe Tommy’s is the best hot chocolate ever!

Beautiful resort! Love all the trail options and the gorgeous views of the valley. Highly recommend booking a lesson with ski instructor Dave B. he was the best my family has ever had! Both our kids and us adults were able to learn and have a great day on the mountain- request him!

We played on the mountain, but did not stay at the resort. Went on the first day of mountain bike season so that added another level and a lot of people to the experience. Rode the ski lift to the top and hiked down. Beautiful views from the top and peaceful paths down.

My favorite Utah resort on a “bad” snow day. Runs are always very well maintained and groomed. It’s a huge resort with tons of lifts.

It’s very well staffed, and the staff care a lot about your experience.

It’s a great ski resort to check out if you are 1. a local with an Ikon pass or 2. made of money.

Some of the worlds best skiing in beautiful Utah. If you want to ski some of that amazing Salt Lake powder then this is the resort you need to visit!

Deer Vally has Supreme staff. Everyone is super helpful and kind. I arrived this morning and was asked if they could help me unload my truck (I'm disabled and they saw that I had a monoski and wheelchair in the back of my truck). I am pretty independent, but agreed to them helping me. Once my truck was unloaded they pushed my monoski and carried my ski to the snow where I loaded and took off. When it came to loading the chairlift, all the lifties were very inquisitive about if I needed anything (like a slow or medium speed load) which I do not! It was nice to have them ask, instead of assuming I needed it slowed down. My wife, and my friend and I had an awesome day exploring the mountain and skiing their nicely groomed runs. Highly recommend due to ADA parking right up front and their awesome helpful staff. Not to mention their awesome terrain!

as someone who enjoys a bit of pampering now and then look no further. if you want that and more head to deer valley for some of the best skiing in one of the most sumptuous settings with the most attentive and friendly service i have experienced. lovely hotels, delicious meals and powder, powder, and more powder await. we could not have been happier that we made deer valley one of our ski destinations in a state that offer so many. thank you utah, we'll be back and we'll spread the word for sure!

My noodle-y 10 year old did a 4 session class with CSSE ski school and he went from never even clipping on skis and not being able to stand still, upright, without falling over - to being totally comfortable on lifts and loving the Deers Hollow run. The instructor, Ryan, was so patient and kind. I am so impressed with the skills my kid learned in just 4 lessons. Out of the many resorts in Utah, I picked Deer Valley because of the reputation but also because of the easy parking situation. Thanks to the tram operation, parking wasn't an issue on Friday afternoons. All the staff, from the parking attendant to ski school to purchasing the lift tickets, were all kind and helpful.

Best ski resort I’ve ever been to. Amazing service, food, and the runs are great! The groomers get a lot of the blues and all of the greens groomed almost every night, and the blacks are amazing for more advanced skiers! I personally enjoyed the blacks over by the Mayflower lift, but they’re super hard, so unless you’re an advanced skier, I wouldn’t try them! The lift lines can get super long if you don’t wake up and get over there early enough, so make sure you’re over there and getting your skis on BEFORE Carpenter and Silver Lake open. Anyway, this resort is amazing, and it’s kept me coming back for 8 years!

We all know how lovely the slopes are... but the Employees need this Praise today. Hallelujah, does Deer valley do an outstanding job of hiring people. I was stuck in the locker room for an hour dealing with a locker malfunction. I missed breakfast by mins. The manager Carolyn from the Great state of Texas saved my breakfast like Texas saved the Union. Not too mention I'm handicapped dealing with back pain in and out. To show that much compassion to a complete stranger shows how awesome of an employee she is. And i came off like a bit of a Prick! Smh. From the Bus boys to the Ski Patrol, the Employees here are some of the classiest people I met in my life. If only most of the resorts Daddy & Mommy Big Bucks guests acted as classy as these Employees. Since Deer Valley is so good at training and teaching people, like their Ski School. Deer Valley may want to start offering an "Ettiquet School". We all could learn a thing or 20 from these World class Employees!

Very nice skiing there. It is perhaps a bit over developed and less majestic than some other ski resorts nearby in Utah, but still a great place to ski.

Love this resort. First, it's beyond beautiful. Then, it's a huge area; it's almost impossible to ski the whole thing in one day.
The staff is over the top everywhere you go.

Of all the destination ski locations we have traveled over the past decades, Deer Valley will always be the benchmark of exceptional hospitality and customer service, and the reason we return every year.

Skiers paradise! No snow boards and perfect Park City snow make for an excellent mountain experience. Memories of the bumps before boarders at the back of the bowl. YES!!

If you want to best, it's the best.

Locals are friendly, and the service is great at the mountain. To top it off, 30 to 40 minutes from SLC.

Never going to find anything like this in the US.
