This is an amazing grocery store that has everything that you could possibly want. The staff are wonderfully nice and the fresh seafood and meat will make your tummy happy! Highly recommend!

Shout to SCOTT in the deli who took the time to place sheets between the slices of Cooper sharp cheese which sticks together horribly otherwise. He was so nice when I asked for thick slices so it would be easier to use. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Superb selection. Very kind and helpful employees. The footpaths are a bit circuitous but makes you appreciate their large selection. Prices are close to Market Basket.

Hannaford in Damariscotta is OFF THE HOOK! Amazing selection in produce department. Better than anywhere else in Midcoast Maine

Nice clean store, well stocked. As always, in spite of our best efforts, we are always short a couple of things. Hannaford had what we needed, prices were fair, convenient location and convenient parking. I should have gotten the name of our cashier: she thoughtfully packed bottles separately so they wouldn't break, and put the small items in a separate bag. Very thoughtful, thank you!

Hannaford’s in Damariscotta is a large grocery store. The people who work there are very nice and knowledgeable. It’s clean with a great produce department and wide variety of groceries. Very well run and organized.

Hannaford's is a great place to shop and has pretty much everything, and then some. The pharmacy is great, but expect a line, also they are difficult to reach by phone due to staff shortage as well as an increase in the population. But all in all it's a great place to shop.

nice produce section, good selections overall. if you use the pharmacy, be prepared to stand in line for a long time

I truly hope Hanaford will acknowledge this exceptional employee, his name is Tom McGrath. He was the only employee in the Deli, quite a few people had gathered. Tom kept his cool, was friendly, polite and efficient!

I absolutely LOVE this store! The meat department is second to none. There case is regularly stocked with quality cuts of meat which make special meals great. There produce is top notch and the bakery department goes out of there way to make customers happy. Selections are tremendous and the staff is so courteous and friendly. We are lucky to have this store in our community!

They have the best staff. Isaac is always so helpful. The store is well kept and clean. The seafood is fresh and they keep their items always well dated. Meats go on sale weekly!

I recently left my phone and wallet in my shopping cart. The staff found it and took it to customer service. I returned in about 30 min and got a very nice welcome and a smile to go along with my waller and phone
