What a fun place to enjoy delicious seafood
with a one of a kind atmosphere!
The lobster roll was PACKED with meat from tail to claws. They do put lettuce on the roll and it’s your choice of butter or Mayo on the side. The buck a shuck oysters were delicious, my 10 year old tried her first ever oyster and is hooked. We danced, enjoyed the company of friends, ate and drank, and enjoyed the sounds and sights of the water.
We also ordered: quesadillas and fish and chips. Everything was delicious! Damariscotta is the perfect little town and Schooners Landing is a great way to experience it.

Had the broiled haddock with drinks while listening to the live band. Awesome atmosphere and great food after a day of adventure. Potato salad also gets excellent review!

I had the Shore Dinner (for one) and it was everything I had hoped for!! I wasn’t a fan of the red peppers in the potato salad but it was good. The coleslaw and clam chowder were delicious; the chowder’s potatoes and clams were fresh and melted in my mouth. The lobster needs no introduction. 🤣

Probably the best lobster roll I’ve had so far this summer. The local pemaquid oysters were also great. A seal popped its head up out of the river while we were eating out on the desk as well. Was pretty surprised how great this place was since we chose it at random walking down the street.

Fantastic service! Even in the middle of Pumpkin festival the bar tenders were friendly and accommodating. Bloody Mary was exceptional, oysters were so fresh and delicious, lobster roll had a good portion size and was above average.

Delicious food and beautiful spot. One of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. The clam chowder was exceptional! Amazing layers of flavors and not crazy thick. Everything was so good and fresh, along with the fried clam roll, crab cake, lobster stew and amazingly delicious local oysters! We enjoyed our lunch there so much we went back again for a second time. Excellent service and staff too. Can't wait to be back next year.

Great place for a casual meal. Ordering is all at the bar, not really a proper sit down restaurant, but the bartender was very personable and friendly and food is brought to your table. Enjoyed local beer and delicious fried seafood, cocktail was decent. Recommend the sliders and the fried haddock. Seating available both inside and outside, but we enjoyed sitting outside right on the water and watching the tide change.

My wife and her best friend had a great time. The food was great. My wife's lobster roll was visibly a lobster roll. You could see the claws, legs and tail. My fried oysters were perfect but, the fries were a little soggy but tasted good.

The service is basic. Order your food and sit down and they bring you your food and that's it. Not a biggie for me.

Started with chowder and oyster stew which was perfect. The oysters were plump and tasty raised right off the dock. Then shared the haddock combo which was awesome!

Update: Popular on the wharf dining. A great place for fresh sea food. Gorgeous views. Plenty of outside seating. Outdoor bar, indoor bar, indoor dining —Plenty of 3 hr public parking just past the restaurant, street. Damariscotta is one of best little towns in MidCoast Maine! Pemaquid Region.

Decided at the last minute to grab a quick bite here. We were very impressed with the whole setup! They had live music when we were there, which just added to the atmosphere. Love the deck, views and food! Want to come back and hang out for a bit longer 😉

Not gonna lie.... I friggin love this place! The list of things to appreciate is long and notable... great location on the water, friendly staff that have been working there for ages (say hi to Marty), super cold drinks, live music regularly, the best oysters... I could go on for 20 minutes!! Here's the bottom line.... no review I could write will do the place justice. Head down there and pay Scott and his excellent team a visit. And don't forget to order some briny oysters with a pint of Pemaquid Ale!!!

Double lobster roll was amazing. Great price, great quality and great service. Nice location.

Fun outdoor bar and restaurant. When we went there was live music and a good crowd. Semi-self service style. Great views over the local marina.

Awesome replica-friendly view as a great way for BOTH my family & I to learn about the above schooner's early history & what the sailors had to go thru, respectively. Yikes!

Best clam chowder I’ve ever eaten. Oysters were great as well. Slightly pricey but it’s worth it.

Band was a bit loud. All I can say is Oysters 🔥🔥💣💣Service was great and food came out fast. The food is fresh and great!! Clam chowder was top 5 on my list. Definitely will be back.

Such a fun place to eat! Food is a little pricey but sitting next to the water and boats is so wonderful you don't want to leave. Oyster chowder is fantastic as are the fish tacos. Friends who don't eat bread loved the lobster on a salad. A lot to choose from and sweet service.

Such a great experience with awesome, friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommend the fried oysters - they know how to do them right. Double portion lobster roll was perfection with more than enough fresh, delicious lobster. Dog friendly! We’ll be back.
