H-Tide Asian Market

Great place to go if you moved from the city and miss getting items and ingredients from Chinatown. The owner has a good sense of what customers want and keeps the store stocked with all the essentials. Also has all the candies and sweets you would expect to find in a Chinatown corner store.

I came here to find ingredients for Tom Kha soup and they had everything! A small selection of wonderfully fresh produce and lots of selections of frozen ingredients and refrigerated things! I wanted to put this review up because I wasn’t sure if they had fresh produce from looking at the photos so hopefully it’s helpful! Thank you!

I started shopping here because it was the closest place for me to buy Jasmine rice in 20lb bags.
I've continued shopping here because they carry quite a few items in their little shop that I'm unable to find near me.
Several different sugars, sauces, snacks etc., including mooncakes in the appropriate season and fresh bean paste cakes. (Yum)
There is a produce section, freezer section, a few houseware items, canned goods, dry goods, candies and even a small shelf of medicinal products plus a few grooming items. There's more than this but I'm not sure how to classify some things.
The cashier always identifies what each thing is as it's being rung up.
I find this shop to be a convenient, nice little place.

I cannot believe I had never been to this store before. They have everything you need to make the most popular Asian dishes. They have snacks, housewares, frozen foods, fresh produce, and all the ingredients you could need. And they also have really good hours.

I was specifically looking for somewhere that sold Thai basil so I could make pho. I probably went to six stores including other little Asian markets. Nobody had it. This store not only had basil. They had all the other ingredients I would’ve needed.

And, of course, most importantly, the prices are fantastic.

Great prices. The food is of good quality. They have a good slow stream of customers coming in. My wife and I have visited twice now with our baby and we like it there.

I love this market, although it's small it's packed with everything you may need for Asian cuisine. Very well stocked with utensils, dried foods, fresh foods and frozen food. I travel about 45 mins and pass up several other Asian markets just to get to H- Tide Asian Market. I highly recommend them.

There aren't many Asian Markets in the area. This happens to be a pretty solid one with a nice variety of items. There isn't a whole lot of produce but a few nice selections.

Just FYI, cash only if below 20 bucks.

My mom took me here on the way home from our shopping trip to surprise me. This place has absolutely everything. It was so hard for me to decide what I wanted to buy, but we did get to purchase some interesting and new products, including chewable pudding and sweet potato noodles. Glad I got to come here. Hope to come back every once in a while.

Just got back from a store I have passed a thousand times. I was hoping for a seasoning to make a version of sushi. What I came home with was that AND 3 more bags of AMAZING! On top of my guilty pleasure Shrimp Chips (if you haven't tried.. they are like clouds sent from heaven with light shrimp flavor), the kind employee (probably owner) helped me not make 2 purchasing errors (wrong rice for sushi and wrong tapioca beads for boba tea) I am VERY grateful for my experience today as well as the ability to buy a big bottle of gluten free soy sauce. The other customers were buying bags of frozen.. I will be back to check the freezer section!

I go here every week. The owner is a very nice woman who works really hard, long hours to ensure everything is well stocked and provides assistance in products for use.

I’ve been able to purchase items both fresh and crispy from the produce area. They stock the best kimchi I have ever tasted. Everything for Asian cooking is available here. Great assortment of teas as well.

I’m in love with a new selection of dried peas called salted egg yolk. They are so addictive. I like them better than the wasabi peas.

Highly recommend this asian grocery store.

We love shopping at H-Tide, Edith the owner is always helpful and knowledgeable about her whole stock. A great selection of fresh and frozen items and a variety of Asian countries/cuisine are available. Shop here if you are within an hour's drive!

Great store for sushi supplies - the Ahi Tuna is delicious. Friendly staff. :-)

Came here and loved it! They have the best spicy ramens and frozen rice cakes which I’ve been craving so bad. I thought it would be expensive because it’s so little but the 5pack of samyang fire carbo spicy chicken ramen I got was 6.99 in store but $7 for 1 individual pack on Amazon. They also had delicious looking mochi desserts that I regret not buying but I will be back!!

Living in the south suburbs as an Asian immigrant is tough when it comes to getting your groceries but this store has a lot of the essentials I need! Highly recommend checking it out!

When you find yourself in the south suburbs this is the spot to get your groceries at. They have Chinese, Thai, and Filipino supply's at a decent price. It is well stocked and has fresh ingredients. Lots of fantastic snacks have found their way into these stores shelves. Give them a try and find out what you've been missing.

A great spot that offers quality produce and meats. I normally come here for their fantastic sandwiches from the deli and their food items from their food cart located in front of the store.

Good prices, good selection, very happy to find a place so near that has authentic ingredients!

They have a great selection of Asian food, including fresh Thai Basil, fresh lemongrass, fresh noodles and much more. They also have have frozen goods and canned goods.

Great place to get Asian groceries, the prices are super reasonable and the staff are always working quickly. Never had anything I didn't like from here.
