Dollar General

This Dollar General at the back gate in Socastee has made some renovations in the past week. When I walked in after they did those renovations my jaw dropped! I was not expecting to see a Mini Mart in Dollar General. I was able to get apples, bananas, lettuce and potatoes for what I needed for dinner. Two thumbs up!

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Store clean, organized and well stocked. Store very busy, but the atmosphere was calm. Fresh produce now available at this location. The many choices of many items made shopping a breeze. Everything I needed was right there, no need to search the entire store. My cashier was Tim Ma. He rang me up quickly and always had a smile and polite conversation. Thanks DG for making it a pleasure to shop this location.

I love the remodel! Now they have lots of food items. Everything from quick frozen breakfast foods to apples and veggies. Everything is so well organized so it's easy to find what you are looking for. Although I am a little sad that they don't carry vegetable and herb garden seeds anymore. The staff is as friendly as they have always been.
Overall, I give this DG 5 stars.

Met Mr.Mike on my way in, very nice guy. My wife had been bragging on the store and I didn't believe it. I went in and yes, she was right. Great new look, spacious, clean, and a much better selection. Even fresh fruit...give it a try 👍

I go to this Dollar General nearly everyday before or after work. They just remodeled, and it looks great. I've always loved the associates there, and it's great to see the same great faces there, day after day.

It's affordable, you can get anything from toilet paper, prepaid phone cards, something to fix for dinner, gallon of milk, school supplies, clothes, cleaning supplies and much more, Mostly I love the everything for $1.00 isles... Also It's walking distance from my home on Watergate Drive Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 Socastee area

Are always very helpful and the store was recently remolded it looks great.

When all else fails Dollar General is there! Local neighborhood store, close to home, and has the essentials to keep me from having to go out of my way. Store employees seem friendly and when the line backs up, you can always count on another employee coming to help out.

Easy and convenient. One of my favorite stores. I save a lot of money shopping there and people working are so nice!

The store is trying to work with what they have. The store is very old but the people that work there are very friendly. DOLLAR GENERAL needs to take care of this store. I am in this store at least five times a week.

Just a normal Dollar General but with more friendly staff. Just watch out for thieving Junkies. Don't go after 6 p.m. without protection.
