Ripley's Believe It or Not!

I had been disappointed in my visit in April, but my visit in October was a complete turnaround and I had an awesome time!

I've always enjoyed oddities and unusual facts, so I knew I'd want to visit Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium when I started visiting Myrtle Beach a few years back.

Among my favorite exhibits and activities are Robert Wadlow, Ripley's Attic, the matchstick roller coaster & Ferris wheel, the vortex tunnel, the memory game, the prize ribbon American flag, the video on Robert Ripley's life, Recollections, the Mandolinsect, Gears, and the various sculptures and other artwork made with everyday objects and unusual mediums.

The new music in the lobby and Recollections is fantastic! The feel-good music, along with the beautiful artistry, makes Ripley's Recollections my favorite shadow dancing attraction in Myrtle Beach!

The new clown in the activity area is cool, the trick mirror and the light that flashes different colors at the end of the vortex tunnel are awesome, and while I miss the animatronic Robert Wadlow in the lobby, the little cowboy is cool too. I miss some of the songs that played in the vortex tunnel, but the songs that still play are cool. I love that the fun, epic music was playing again in the activity area!

The staff was awesome! I visited during the week of October 9, and while all staff was friendly and helpful, an extra special shout-out to the gentleman in the lobby at opening time on 10/13...I had questions about the haunted house and he gave me a lot of info, and he was very welcoming...made me feel like part of the family! The Mandolinsect display didn't light up when I pushed the button on 10/12, and a maintenance person fixed it during my visit. I had planned a different place on 10/13, but I had such a good time at the Odditoriun and the new Ripley's attractions on 10/11 and 10/12 that I decided to go back on 10/13. I did the Aquarium+4 ticket.

The all-new Mystery Gate near Lizard Man and Vampire Woman was a very nice surprise! I enjoyed opening and going through it while watching the videos.

The museum is clean, colorful, and beautiful, with clean restrooms.

I recommend getting a combo ticket or an Ultimate Fun Pass to save money and maximize your fun! I plan on getting an Ultimate Fun Pass next year as I visit the Ripley's attractions multiple times during my Myrtle Beach vacations.

I'm so glad I gave Ripley's another chance, and I am looking forward to coming back in the spring!

Great place to take friends and family. They will love it. Kids really enjoy this place. The Ripley's Aquariam is also a great place. It will truly amaze you with it's beauty. Two completely different experiences in the same area. You and your friends will certainly enjoy both of these places. Best time to go is early in the day.

I've been to a few locations of RBION, and I genuinely always love the experience! I bought the 5 experience tickets here in Myrtle Beach, and we had a blast! This is a great thing to do, a good deal with all 5 experiences and entertaining for children and adults! I am very glad that we stumbled upon it when looking for dinner tonight!

One of my favorite shark tunnels is inside here. Definitely a must try spot. Lots of fun things for kids and even interesting and enjoyable for adults. Penguins are adorable.

This was a fun museum yo visit while at Myrtle Beach, SC. We were only about a 30 minute walk along the beach to this location of Ripley’s and it was a pretty fun place.

There was a lot of interesting, cool, weird, creepy, and spooky things that were listed. If you have been to the wonderworks museum or some other modern museums or illusion museums then you might find some things here that you’ve seen before. We only saw one new thing though that we’ve seen in a couple of locations but it’s something that’s a lot of fun to do every time so it was actually a nice surprise.

Ripley’s has been around for a long time so you may already seen a lot but it’s really fun if you want to create a new adventure with your children to see this interesting and wacky world that they put together.

The wait time was not bad to get in. We bought our tickets the night before and went the following day around 12pm to get out Oles Grinchak the heat of the day. It was a good choice and a lot of fun!

The exploratory Mr. Ripley has opened his museum of odd things for the world to see!

You will NOT be disappointed if you visit this place! Things to see here include sculptures made of rubbish and scrap metal, a Burmese woman with rings on her neck, a wax model of the world's tallest man, and heck, even a portrait of Donald Trump made entirely with bubble gum!

There's also an entire exhibit about King Tutankhamun and ancient Egypt!

A world of bizarre and "truth is stranger than Fiction" awaits you in this museum!

Even better, they also change out some of the exhibits and sculptures every now and then to keep things fresh!

Lots of fun and interesting stuff to view!!! Also right across from the beach so it was at a great location.

This place is amazing! Lots of cool facts and artifacts! Hands on parts too. Definitely fun and unbelievable! Great place to spend the afternoon! Definitely going to visit again soon. The military discount is awesome. The place is clean and fun and so cool inside! Got some amazing pics and had the absolute best time here! The arcade at the end is cool and the aquarium is awesome! Seriously if ur near by; check it out its DEFINITELY worth it

This place was awesome. One of the best attractions in Myrtle Beach in my opinion. Lots of interactive displays and plenty of goofy pieces that anyone can enjoy.

Myrtle Beach Ripley Believe it or not was another great thing to do near me hear at the beach shopping and amusement area at Myrtle Beach. I was told that if I eat the famous for long here across the street with a women I met at the beach i would get married to her. Lol.
Very nice display of history and wax sculptures. The price was fair for this and I would recommend to just check it out for the experience and history.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the aquarium. So much to see. My favorite place to go was the tunnel. It was amazing to see sharks, turtles, and many other sea life up close. Great time!

We were here last year for our Anniversary/Getaway. I enjoyed our week in SC and RBION was a great place to visit. We had a blast viewing and taking pics at the wax museum.. Will visit again for a weekend..

So much fun! Haven't been to a Ripley's museum in a while and we enjoyed. Wasn't busy when we went which made it even better. Would definitely go back.

One of my favorite Believe it Or Not’s I have been too. Some of the best exhibits that were mostly unique to this location. Very interesting room design and layouts to make you feel engaged the whole way. The Egyptian section along with the dinosaur section are super entertaining and exciting. They also have some neat movie props for people that are into that sort of thing.

Very fun and kid friendly. The price was a bit high but it's also in a tourist area so that's to be expected. The exhibits were interesting and mysterious. There was also an attached arcade when you near the exit. There was also a public bathroom half way through the walk through. My three year old daughter had a blast but was also a bit scared of some of the displays! We enjoyed ourselves!

Lots of fun, very family oriented! We always enjoy coming here whenever we are in the local area. Lots to see and all the locations are easy to find. Parking can be a little difficult at times but I would still definitely go.

Excellent Experience for my children. There are two lines to get in. One to buy your tickets, we use the self-service kiosk which also did scan in the coupons that you can find in the booklets around town. So that was good that saved us some money. There's also a line once you get in the building where they take pictures of you and your family for purchase later and then you can actually get into the attraction. We got through all of the attractions in about an hour and a half plus I'd say. There's a place where you can buy snacks and drinks for kidsand also a mini bar set up in the middle of the place if the adults need a drink as well. We didn't find it necessary to buy any of the tickets for the extra attractions, my kids had plenty of fun without buying those.

Lots of interesting things to see here. We enjoyed it. The monster coupon book has a QR code to scan if one wants to buy combo tickets to other Ripley attractions.

Definitely recommend this one. We had an amazing time. Stuff for all ages. Such random things I loved every second of it so did my kids

This was a great experience! My family loved it! It was super interesting and fun. I would highly recommend this and the other Ripley's attractions!
