SkyWheel Myrtle Beach

I had a wonderful time at the SkyWheel at Myrtle Beach. It was one of the best attractions The SkyWheel is a huge observation wheel that offers stunning views of the ocean and the city. The gondolas are comfortable and air-conditioned, and the ride is smooth and relaxing. I went around five times, and I enjoyed seeing the different sights at each turn. The SkyWheel is located at the boardwalk, which is a fun and lively place to explore. There are many shops, arcades, and restaurants nearby. I also visited the LandShark Bar & Grill, which had a great menu and a nice atmosphere. I had a delicious cheeseburger and a refreshing margarita, and I listened to some live music. It was a perfect way to end my day. The SkyWheel is a must-do attraction for anyone who visits Myrtle Beach. It is a unique and memorable experience that you will not regret. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the tickets are affordable. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves beautiful views and fun things to do.

I took the sunrise package because I wanted to experience the dawn at Myrtle Beach, SC. I arrived at the SkyWheel Parking around 7AM, and parking on the street was free until 9AM. Breakfast that was provided included pastries (muffins), orange juice, and coffee. The ride, overall, was smooth. The view of the beach is definitely "worth it" in at the dawn. The only problem was that the ride was too short (felt shorter than 30 minutes). Regardless, you can't beat seeing the sun rising behind the clouds! Attached photos are taken with an iPhone 15.

Great experience. My husband and I really enjoyed the skywheel. The view was amazing. Highly recommend . The night view was beautiful. We didn't experience it during the day. Friendly staff. Great customer service. Thank you 😊

The view is spectacular. We went on a weekday morning right after it opened. The weather was spectacular. It's pretty easy to get on and off if you use a walker (but please note that the walker doesn't go on the ride)

I haven't been on a ferris wheel in awhile, but this experience was amazing! The ladies near the front and all the ones we talked to were nice! The wait time was short which was great. The view was very pretty and was very awesome to look at from above. You could even see the other ferris wheel near the back if you're not facing the water.

If you’re considering whether or not you should spend the $20 to ride this - the answer is DO IT! We were debating on it and finally decided to ride it on our last night in town. We bought our tickets the last hour it was running and there was a bit of a line - but it moved fast. We were able to go around 8-10 times and each time it got more and more beautiful. The view of the coastline is unforgettable.

Myrtle beach is a beautiful and free beach with lots of interesting stores, attractions and restaurants nearby. I heard visitors can find the shark teeth on this impressive beach.

Our views were breathtaking! We were on the first ride of the day and rode for about 20 minutes. The prices change depending on the day you go and there are deals - so do your research!

This ferris wheel is huge! And each little pod holds 4 people, is air conditioned, and has some amazing views. It's $20 per person and you get to go around 5 times. It's worth checking out if you're vacationing and would love to see the ocean-city views from almost 150 feet tall!

We didn't expect the water, it was warm because we from New york and New york beaches the water is always cold. I will go back soon. Free beaches, just find a good spot to park your car. Hotel not to good you want nice hotel drive 10 to 20 minutes from there.

I think it was worth the money to go up and around and around it was a lovely view and the boys loved it. considering we just took a helicopter ride the day before it was fun but not as fast.

Well, not a lot to say but it's great to go on. We went, the folks were super nice and when we went up it was an awesome view.
The ride lasted quite awhile and it was nice being left up so we could take pics.

This was my First time on a Farris wheel so was excited to ride. We got there around 6p and had maybe a 5-10min wait. Tickets were about $20 per person. Our gondola was very clean. The ride was pretty smooth, kids could even enjoy it. We stopped on the first two resolutions, I guess to let people in/off and then we went around none stop for another 4!or 5 times. Next time I’ll go at night when it’s lit up. Great views of the beach.

Not a fan of heights in the slightest, but really wanted to see the shore and the sights. Let me tell you, the ride is so smooth even I had no fear and the views are great!! Would highly recommend, don't be scared, it's no where near as bad as it looks and the payoff is 👍👍

This is a must ride. We have done this sky wheel twice. Our next time we want to try going at night and experience a different view. The ride is air controlled and is at least 15 great white sharks high. Love going on this ride with family. Definitely get to see Myrtle Beach in a different setting.

Very nice. If you're kind of afraid of heights, go at night. If you are okay gazing out at the ocean, the day time should be great. They have a sunrise option as well.

Please look at your hotel's coupons and discounts. I paid $50 for 2 people.
The next day, I saw at the check-in desk of my resort, I could've gotten to ride for free.

We actually purchased the combo, fly, and dine. You pay 45 for two people and you get back a 25 dollar coupon to use at Land Shark Grill. This was a great deal. We researched the ride and the restaurant first to make sure we would enjoy singing from their menu and we sure did.

Absolutely worth it. I got to see beautiful views in an air conditioned gondola. The ride was smooth, the equipment is well maintained, I felt very safe. Definitely recommend the SkyWheel

First time at Myrtle Beach and we had to try this activity. Would definitely do it again. We easily went around 5-6 times. Staff was very friendly and I really appreciated the fans outside on this hot night.
