Bermuda Sands

A very patient front desk lady assisted me. Even after I had problems with my own payment, she waited patiently for me to fix! The room was clean. The view was more than I expected! Side view of the ocean is worth it!

Very nice hotel. Staff here are amazing. If you need anything, they are willing to help! Amazing views of the ocean. They event have a nice little water park that kids can even enjoy. Rooms have been updated some and are cozy.

Loved the room we had. We had lot's of space. The house cleaning was excellent. Have been going there a few years now and will continue to stay there. Shout out to Dave and Michelle great job.See you next year. The Toler family 👪

I had considered lying on my review just to keep this my “secret spot” lol but I thought of how unfair that would be for the hard working employees here. They do have some rust, but it’s the beach.. salt water will do that. We stripped our linens when we arrived (we do everywhere) no signs of bugs. They were very clean and friendly. And I’m sure the guests don’t make things easy!!

Location was amazing, we had a lower floor as we brought our 2 pitbulls with us and 3 kids lol enough room for us all. The other people occupying the hotel were a bit rude when it came to the dogs. It was a pet friendly hotel a lot of people had brought their dogs, it was also bike week 😍.

if you are booking a room here do not do it. i have been coming to the beach for 30 years now at least 1 or 2 times a year. this was the first time i stayed at Bermuda sands and the very last time also. it took me 4 hours to get into my room. then when i finally got in my room it was very nasty. i had trash and dirty towels in the floor. also trash everywhere outside. there was a broken bottle in the floor outside going into the pool area. i told them and it took 2 hours before someone cleaned the broken glass up. i had 2 what it looked like needles in the floor outside of the room. the front desk there is very rude. the 1 and only thing i can say good about this place is the maintenance guy there was very helpful. he was doing things for people there he did not have to do. so thank you to the maintenance guy there. if you have kids i would beg you not to book a room at Bermuda sands hotel. by far 100 percent the worst vacation i have ever had and it was because of my hotel stay there.if i was rating this place from 1 to 10 it would be in the negative.

So this place is far from being a 5 star as I ranked. However, I'm giving five stars for it being decent enough on the beach. The room was a bit worn but clean and they are actively working on improving the rooms. The big reason for the 5 stars and it's a turn off for some is that this place allows dogs and smoking. That might not be your thing but there's so little options in this regard, let us have one of the few places left. Also friendly staff from all that I experienced.

Great place love the view from the 5th floor if you like fishing the pier is so close you can see people catch fish. . . if you bring a dog and your the 1 that picks up behind your dog . there's 10 that don't. . the office ladys are the best. I don't understand the nasty reviews about the office but if your nice there nice. . sugar goes a long ways. . OH. The weed smell is so strong here you get a headache from if.

The employees at Bermuda Sands were fantastic. This hotel is lovely and reasonably priced. We arrived a little early and were thrilled to find that our room was ready. It was nice and clean and we loved the location. We really appreciated having a place that's pet friendly, so we could bring our (crated) dogs. The only complaint I had was regarding inconsiderate customers, such as the loud music and amorous sounds from next door well past quiet time, and the person who thought that the area out back was their own personal parking spot. That blocked our view of the ocean for much of our last morning there. Those things were not the fault of the management, and when I brought to their attention, they were apologetic and addressed appropriately. I would love to come back and stay some time, in hopes that we have better neighbors. We were just there for two nights, so I could run the 5K portion of the marathon. Maybe next time we visit, we'll stay a little longer so we can explore more of the area!

Relaxing and comfortable place to stay , the staff are all professional and friendly also accommodating when possible. Our room was nice and clean so no complaints there. However I’m sure if people respected the property more during their stay this motel wouldn’t need much renovating. Looking forward to our next stay soon.

Great little place we ended up staying at. Prices were great for the time of year. For a couple who doesn't plan to be in the room much, it was great. They have a pool too...

As soon as I saw it was pet friendly and then Professor Boujie Britches comment, "It reeked of pot" I knew I'd found my place. I like nice things and nice places, n i dont mind actin all classy but.. I'm also just a wee bit trashy 😁 and i like my hotels to reflect that, im a stout advocate for "Minding Your Own Business". If it isnt hurting, exploiting, or defrauding anyone else..KEEP YA NOSE IN YA OWN BOOK! Bermuda Sands did an excellent job in that regard. As long as you don't make waves or start negatively impacting anyone else's stay, they will absolutely leave you be. Rooms are fine, at least on floor 2, no roaches. Wifi isn't bad either. Overall I give it 5/5 will stay again!!

You’re spending less then $100 a night. ON THE BEACH!! The rooms were as clean as they could be for the age of the hotel. Does it need up grades? Yes it could use them. It didn’t stop My family or myself from having a great time. The staff answered all questions, helped where we needed it, and did what they could.

Yes should pack more towels. You can’t expect them to be responsible for your beach towels and bathing… we spend less on our hotel because theres plenty other things to do while at Myrtle Beach!! Now GO ENJOY YOUR STAY!!

A great stay. I appreciate the budget friendly rates and true southern hospitality. Ask for a room facing water to get waterviews they may be able to help you. My favorite part is the solid door. Alot of the budget hotels have very questionable doors and locks with most doors not appropriately shutting or locking, THESE DOORS SHUT AND LOCK. and the key works as it should and good. I like the doors here. Id stay here again and will as soon as I get some days off, sometimes I stay while working and just commute. could use new showerheads but for value its a good deal. Also leaving a basket of fruit at the front in the AM would be cute. Thank you for the discount booklet also. Oh and ask for your tv remote, thats a thing on the beach it typically is not given without asking and typically not in the room as springbreakers and tards break them.

Great reception with amazing and kind staff! The beds were quite comfortable and the carpet was so soft and the rooms had such amazing ocean side view wish I had taken a picture to share. It's definitely a thing I will have to do during my next stay. The only downside is there was not enough dishes (mainly plates and napkins) for everyone with me to use after we ordered our pizza from "Pizza Party New York Style Pizza" This is off topic but the pizza from there was really well made definitely would order again from them.

While visiting I got to see them shoot down the Chinese spy balloon. Staff is super friendly and so nice. Got a room on 6th floor ocean front and room is super clean. Great place to stay it's a 5 outta 5 for me

Myself and my family of 6 stayed 9/16-9/19 in the 'Penthouse' suite. It was HUGE. 2 VERY large bedrooms, big bathroom, half bath, huge living room, dining area, and a great kitchen. We had a perfect view of the ocean from our balcony, plenty of places for everyone to sit inside and out. We had our dog with us so we requested no room service (to keep from scaring the dog and housekeeper) however; the housekeeper still dropped off a bag of fresh towels, wash cloths, soaps, shampoos, and toilet paper. We never ran out and never had to ask for any. Check in was super fast and very easy. The gentleman at the front desk called 30 min before we arrived to make sure we were still coming and stayed over his shift to do his nightly paperwork just to accomodate us. We paid 10 dollars for 2 room keys just so we would have a spare and got our refund back during check out (which was super quick and easy). The kids loved the lazy river and the splash area and the adults had a nice time in the larger pool and hot tub. Everyone was super friendly and more than willing to help us if needed. We did have an issue with the tv in the living area and one of the bedrooms, but we just put the working tv in the living room for our stay so the kids could watch at night. We had a few coffee cups but I don't recall other dishes. That wasn't a problem for us considering we were only gonna be using the coffee cups. Tv problem wasn't a problem at all, we made due for the kids at night and the rest of the time we didn't care about watching tv. We seen one of those huge roaches out on the balcony, but I literally seen them all over the place down in MB lol. The hotel is outdated but it's not bad at all. The housekeepers worked their butts off (we seen them all the time) doing the best they can. We tried to help out by stripping the beds, cleaning ALL of our stuff from the room, and pulling the trash before we left. We will definitely stay again! If you want high class, go somewhere else. If you wanna lay in your room and watch tv all day while at the beach, go somewhere else. If you want sparkle and shine, go somewhere else. I personally was skeptical after reading the reviews, but once I got there, I learned that everyone has different taste and this place isn't near as bad as people try and make it out to be. We loved it. The room. The staff. The kindness. The view. The location. Everything was perfect for us!

Very nice and clean room
Had a wonderful view of the beach on the balcony. The weather was fantastic. The lady that registered us was very pleasant and nice . Thank you for suck a WONDERFUL AND FUN FILLED WEEKEND

It's pretty chill there they don't rush u out the rooms at checkout time, they're nice to you and give great service.

We had a great experience at this hotel. There are some very harsh reviews regarding this place that's way overboard I feel. We really enjoyed staying here. First off, it's a great price if you're needing to budget for your trip. The desk clerks are very nice. No problems with any of them. Pool area is nice. I suggest buying a round donut like tube float for the lazy river that way your family always has one. They dont have a ton but they do have some. We brought one and it was very nice. Water temp was nice in both pools and hot tub. You also can swim in the outdoor pool at hotel next door because its owned by same person, which gives you a lot of options right there for the kids. Enjoyed that area the most. Had ocean view with full kitchen. Set up like a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 beds total. Enough room for the 5 of us. Only complaint is our room was not serviced. But we just cleaned up after ourselves for about 20 minutes a day after breakfast before the beach and grab more towels and tissue daily. They have no problem supplying you with what you need. And remember, we aren't paying Hilton prices here. Parking can be tricky but they have 4 total lots you may use. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we will be back. We plan on booking here for next year.
