John O’s Liquor & Tobacco

John O's is simply the best liquor store in the entire state of KY. Whether I'm looking for a hard-to-find allocated bourbon, a fantastic store pick, or a great on-the-shelf bourbon or rye, John O's is the place! Over the years, I've bought it all from John... bottles from $9 up to $3,000, but always knew that I was getting a good price for what I was buying. I sure agree that the prices of allocated bourbons have gotten pretty high, but the market is what is. John is able to get bottles that others just don't have!
His store picks are always on point. The most recent Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is an excellent example. It's dynamite!
I always recommend John's when people ask me where is the best place to look for the best bottles!

Best liquor store in the area. It's worth the drive. They had a variety of everything. I was so impressed with the champagne selection and beer. They even have a bourbon bar w demos. No Dominican rum but I bet that will change quickly. Check it out. I was here shopping for hours

Huge selection of hard to find liquors. By far best Bourbon collection Ive seen in the whole region and Ive been to all the big box stores and this place has them all beat. Picked up some great bottles. Super friendly.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I recently moved here from Louisville and it has been so nice to find a liquor store with such an amazing selection of Bourbon especially, but any type of liquor, beer, cider, wine, etc.... Everything. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable and very patient and helpful with any questions I might have about anything I'm purchasing. Whether for myself or for a gift. They always know the perfect items to recommend. I am already a loyal customer and plan on continuing to shop there on a regular basis.

I had to take a moment to actually take the store all in. I mean it's so big but every shelf was full and I found everything I went for plus mire. I had no idea the variety of wines and liquors. They even had some whiskeys I had not had in a while. The employees were very helpful gyuiding me to where I needed to be. I wish I would have followed their directions carefully, but I got off the track and ended up buy more than I had anticipated. Thank goodness they take credit cards. I will certainly go back b
