This is my favorite Russian store! They make the best рогалики here and have a wide selection of candies. Employees here are very kind and helpful. Been going here for years, definitely recommend! 🫶🏻

I have been coming here for a few years now and the staff is always friendly and polite. A decent selection of imported foods and produce. The cakes are also so delicious!

The only place I go. The staff is amazing and smile. Very friendly and the food is always fresh and delisious. Google translate is free and can help you if you decide to ask questions.

I’ve purchased pirogies and some random kids candies from here, and it’s always been a good experience. Yes, the clerks DO speak English either pretty well or at least enough to communicate what you need, so ignore that other poster. The pirogies are delicious and filling, even if they’re a day old, in which case they almost don’t want to sell them to you and they give you a discount. Still so worth it at $1.50/piece for those huge, fluffy pillows of deliciousness. I happened to get two fresh chicken ones today and I was in heaven. There is a kid’s candy item that they sell that is extremely hard to find anywhere but the little kids LOVE watching the YouTube videos of European kids opening them and playing with the toys, and the reason why they’re so hard to find is very American and dumb, so I’m glad they have them here because my boys love getting them once in a while.

I can’t speak for their other products (I’ve had some other baked items and they were all very good) but they’re always friendly and helpful.

UPDATE: they seem to have changed the bread on their pierogies, and while they are still filling, they are not nearly as good as they were with the old bread. 🙁

This place is awesome!!! I've barely scratched the surface on what they sell but right off the bat, the coffee and Borscht soup are amazing!! Can't wait to try the deli meats and baked goods next!!!

Pleased with the selection and I'm excited to try the many bulk candies I've never seen before. The pastry section looks good and I got a very yummy little cheesecake from it. The bulk pirogies are a good price. Seems to be a little understaffed as most places are these days but I think it's a really cool bakery with cheap coffee and good study vibes.

I just had a 10 year old memory pop up from when I was a teenager and taking a 20 min walk from my house to this store often to try the candies and have their italian soda and that chai drink they had at the bar. I’m so happy to see them still open and going strong. I miss the delicious drinks and honestly am tempted to write and ask about the kinds of candies they sold, that was what kept me going back over and over. All so delicious. Biggest memory I have of my time in Vancouver.

This place was an accidental find, but a very pleasant experience. Authentic northern European foods. I traveled this area. I miss the dark breads, pelmeni, borscht and baked goods. They have a great meat counter with a large assortment of salami, bologna, cheeses and smoked meats. I go here often. Eat in or take out.

If you haven't been here you need to go both for the food and for the customer service. I'm a white boy who doesn't speak but like three words of Russian and even though there is a communication barrier everybody is always extremely helpful to me and all the baked goods are absolutely amazing.

Lately they sell products that are not fresh. All though i asked if the marshmellows are fresh and she said yes, just got it today. I come home and its like rubber. Not the first time and not just marshmellows. Until recent it was my the only russian store i trusted and refered freinds to it, but its changing.

Edit: Great customer service, new owners take this bussiness serious. All expired food get off the shelves. Great store.

Great fresh baked goods! The lady that assisted me (as I have never been in and not familiar with all the diverse selections) was very helpful! I will be back to try the meats!

Marvelous smoked fish of every description. Excellent borscht to take away. Do not miss the great breads, especially the whole-wheat boule! Superb and authentic!

I was looking for something specific- which they did not carry.
However, I found multiple other items that I bought for a fair price and I could even read the packaging on some of them!
Their chocolate options are very tasty!

Oh man these ladies have been nothing but the best to me. The first time I came in I was only buying a gyro, and was very surprised to see the large assortment of meats, pastries and candies displayed beautifully throughout the store. The person preparing my gyro was very kind, making small talk while I waited on my meal. The gyro was delicious, and a very good size, they really pack in the meat, so good. The second time I came in I brought my gf, and I got the same five star service. Unfortunately gf left her wallet there and we didn't realize until 10 hours later. But here's the best part I went back and lady remembered who I was and immediately knew what I was looking for, got the wallet back no problem.

TL;DR
this is a wonderful establishment and I implore you to check it out, you won't regret it.
