Salmon Creek Ace Hardware

Funny little hardware store in a great location. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. This visit, I was there for auto licensing service. That was fast and efficient with no waiting.

Very helpful people in here. Some neat odd items you don't find everywhere. Prices seem decent as well

Helpful Friendly Staff. Large Hardware store, have a bit of everything. They have “HWY 99 Auto License” located in the back corner of the store. JB “Kwik Weld” cost $8.23. Seems to be a reasonable price.

In a hurry, went into store wanting 4 items and not sure where to find them...floor person asked if he could help me..
Oh yes, I answered ....showed me where to find my items ...and ..zip I was out the door...!! Great service!! Thank you!!

I've always had a special place in my heart for Ace. Ever since the original song went" Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man" I don't why they changed it. Still sounds better.
But anyhow, store is always clean & organized. Easy to find things always surprised with the selection due to the fact it's smaller than most hardware stores. Plus you can take care of your car registration there as well. Very convenient!!

Very nice place, well organized so easy to find what you want fast, friendly staff and huge selection of items you may need. Felt the prices are in line for what I expected. Would recommend to my friends and family.

I went in looking specifically for a 5/32 hexagon drill bit. The lady clerk knew her inventory and was able to find it within a minute. Very satisfied.

I met an earthly Angel at Ace Hardware in Salmon Creek (Vancouver, WA). Let me explain… I needed to pick up a few things at the hardware store. I had planned to go earlier in the day, but my arthritis just wouldn’t cooperate. I was in pain all day. When my pain finally eased, I was determined to run my errand. As I approached Ace, I saw an employee watching me. It was near closing, and she and another employee were taking in Ace’s merchandise that had been outside the store. She said hello to me, but continued to watch to see if I were actually headed for Ace, and not the walk in medical clinic next door ( I was on my walker. ) After seeing that I was going into Ace, she stopped what she was doing and offered to help me. She went to get everything I needed (while I waited by the cash register). She also put my purchases in my car for me. Thank you my earthly Angel. I wouldn’t know you if I saw you again, because Covid had your face covered with a mask. But, I sure am thankful that someone raised you right. Thanks Ace, for hiring this amazing employee.

The manager, Hung Luu, is such a thoughtful and kind person who will go the extra mile to help customers! Highly recommend this store!

Being nnew to the area, it's nice to know that everytime a project necessity arises this is still the "go to" store because if they don't have it they know who does! Great customer service & their stores are always clean and organized! Thank you!

I need to know Lou's schedule. By far the best customer service I have EVER received in my entire life. If I could guarantee he was going to be there every time... I would never shop anywhere for anything else. Thanks Lou. And it was his day off!!!

Best hardware store ever! We had an issue with an extremely expensive chandelier from Israel that came with a fixture broken. We looked around for lighting repair places and couldn't find any until we talked to globe lighting who mentioned that the owner of this Ace hardware does lighting repair. We brought the chandelier in, and initially it looked unfixable because of the way the fixture was welded in place. However, he was able to rig it in such a way that we could still make it work, so that we won't have to send it back to Israel. He didn't even charge us, because it took no parts and he was able to do it on the spot in about 20 minutes. We are so thankful!!

I went in the store on Monday in the afternoon to purchase some painting supplies. The young gal at the register with black hair named Marcella I believe, was not only helpful at giving me advice but she was cheerful and easy to talk to. It is nice to see someone enjoying their job and with a positive attitude.

The staff are truly helpful people. Anytime I have a project idea but lack the experience I head to this store. I know the staff are full of useful tips and tricks to help me get the job done. I have even been know to go back just to share the outcome of my completed projects! Great little local hardware store.

I have visited the Salmon Creek Ace Hardware several times since it opened and found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable not to mention it carried everything I needed for my backyard project as well as a few interior issues I have had to deal with. So much better then the huge stores that you walk around forever and then walk out with nothing! I will be back for sure!

It's conveniently located next to Safeway with plenty of parking. When you walk in it has that feel of a mom and pop hardware store. You can find someone to help you without wandering for hours. I was greeted as I walked in by the cashier. In the back they also have a satellite DMV licensing where you can renew your vehicle tabs, transfer titles etc. There will be a nominal convenience fee for those transactions. They have several little spontaneous purchase displays with everything from candy bars to mini flashlights, screwdrivers etc. If you're looking for paint they have that too and will mix it for you. Like the tv commercial says,"Ace is the place for the helpful hardware store".

This store recently hosted a Ladies Night. There was a "poker game" that moved us around the store, collecting 5 cards, & then folks traded to get better hands. On the way out, there were mini poinsettias & a gift bag that had items that were useful, & must have cost the store quite a bit (multi tool, 2 pack of zip knives, & a kitchen tool in mine). Snacks & juice were also served. It was crowded, but they did a good job of keeping up with so many people.

The best, excellent customer service in town with knowledgeable employees! They always seem to have what I need. Much more personal than the big corporate chains. Mr Luu, great job running your store.

Friday 4:47pm want to purchase wdfw fishing license, 2022 boat tab, and might as well get a discovery pass. I hoped enough time to complete transaction was available. So did twenty others. I googled and found out Friday open to eight pm.
