Love the store, filled more than not, rarely out of stock. Service is decent, and the associates are helpful more days than not. Only thing missing.. Wishing for the pre COVID business hours however..

Marta at the deli has fantastic customer service, and the manager women with the cute short dark bob haircut with glasses, her name escapes me but she is always amazing and helpful and fast. Personally the whole staff works very hard in my opinion.

Yesterday night, I went grocery shopping at Jewel. I had a lot of items, and a fair amount were heavy items. Once I was done, I went up to the check out aisles. Unfortunately, the only check out aisle with a person was the 15 items or less aisle. I sort of panicked. I had so much stuff! I knew they wouldn't all fit on a self-check-out ledge part section.  And if something went wrong, it'd be difficult to get help. I wouldn't hear any sounds. I was just standing there, scared. The lady at the express lane wasn't paying attention to me... I really didn't know what to do. It was a very isolating, lonely feeling.
One of the employees in the self check out area saw me and said something to me. I indicated to her that I couldn't hear her. :( To my absolute surprise, she started signing! OH MY GOD! YOU KNOW SIGN LANGUAGE! was flashing in my mind. She asked if I needed help. I let her know I did!
So, I brought my fully packed cart over to her and a self checkout machine. She let me know to put my phone number in. (As this would give me the member discount.) She scanned all my items, and asked me if I wanted to keep the fingernail stuff in my purse. I did. She also checked to see if I wanted my Pepsi left out, and I did. She made sure I knew the total. She helped me to scan my EBT card. She didn't have any judgement regarding that, as, sadly, some clerks in some stores do. I put in my credit card for the non EBT items. She let me know when she had to step away for a minute. We had successfully checked out my big order, and it went so well.
Not only am I extremely impressed and happy that an employee knows sign language, but she completely went far above and beyond to help me. To take the initiative to see if I needed help, to making sure I got my discount, and that my Pepsi was left out. I would have been elated just with her knowing sign language. But she made me feel welcomed, valued, important, and just like a normal human being. I wasn't embarrassed and I didn't feel judged. I felt like a valued customer and a valued human being.
The little things that were once so easy, turn into nightmares when you have a disability. Especially when you have a disability others can't see....
This is the first time I've had an employee know how to sign and help me so much. I was tearing up walking out of the store because I was just so grateful. I wanted to give her a hug! I did speak up the best I could and said thank you to her.
Jewel, I did not get her name, and her name is not on my receipt. But she has shorter black hair, is a pretty lady, in her 20s or 30s I think. I checked out on 02/27/2023 at 22:32 (10:32pm) at a self checkout machine. I just want her to be told how awesome she is!
PLEASE please give this employee a raise! She is such a wonderful worker, and such a wonderful person.  She made me think of Jewel in a much more positive and happy way. Like, that Jewel actually CARES about the community, and isn't just in it for the money. Something that seems small at the time, can have a huge impact on someone's day, and self esteem.
THANK YOU Jewel! THANK YOU young lady! THANK YOU for making what would have been a stressful and scary experience for me, into one that went by flawlessly.

This store has easy parking and plenty of handicap spaces as well. Carts are always available at the entrance and cleaning supplies are available. The store is well organized, nicely maintained, and well-lit. Public restrooms are available and kept very clean. Product availability is excellent, pricing is on par with competitors in the area. Employees are friendly and helpful, several of them have been at this location for years. This is your "go to" location for food and drug needs.

The best fresh squeezed Orange Juice of all local sources! I live near 4 other Jewel stores and these guys make the best! I go3 miles out of my way to get mine here! Better than Mariano's for sure, try it yourself!

This is my favorite go to market. Such a good place to shop. Everything is fresh and appealing. Great selection of good and quality foods. The meat section always has outstanding deals you won't beat anywhere else. They also have a great selection of fruits, vegetable, and organic products along with baked goods. You already know that the store is pretty awesome. And the employees were incredibly helpful and the service was stocked clean and organized. It has got to have the freshest produce I have tried. The prices aren't the cheapest but the produce is top quality. Everything looked really fresh. Check out was easy and fast. I highly recommend Jewel-Osco to anyone.

I like this Jewel a lot. Great size and selection. Premade foods are tasty and fresh, great for office lunches. Was particularly grateful for the giant Diet Mountain Dew “tree” they had during Christmas. Wish it was all year long!

I went to this Jewel to grab some firewood, and when I wasn’t able to ring it up without the actual bundle of wood (I thought there was a button in there system and I was wrong), Sadim came to the rescue and actually went outside to grab the bundle for me so that I wouldn’t lose my spot in line. It was so kind of him!!! Absolutely top of the line customer service, I won’t be shopping elsewhere for the holidays

I work second shift and this location is open to midnight. Good store to pick-up things on my way home. Cashier Jesse was friendly and talkative despite the fact the store was closing soon. I felt unhurried. Thank you

The staff is friendly and helpful. I am a middle aged bi-racial woman living in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, and have seen and been a victim of some very unpleasant attitudes and prejudice treatment, I also walk with a cane and am often in pain, but I try to smile and be pleasant to everyone I come in contact with. Never in the almost 6 years that I have shopped at this Jewel Store have there been nothing but the best service and friendliness of the other Jewel stores in the area! Employees smile, and not just say hello, but ask you how are you doing and very helpful and courteous young men that have assisted with reaching something up high, or something that may be heavy, put it in my cart with a smile and ask is there anything else I may need, like the good manners that we were all supposed to be raised with!!! I have had friends of mine who live in Schaumburg and shopped at their local Jewel, brought me to " my Jewel" and now shop at the Jewel Arlington Heights Jewel with or without me!! The cleanliness of the store, shelves are well stocked, and one of the best staffs, from the baggers, checkers, deli, butchers, cleaning crew, and management staff, this is a store I will continue to shop in and enjoy my experiences every time I go there! Been shopping here for over 10 years and I have to say I've never had a bad experience or relative issue, could maybe do a little more on the atmosphere but staff is almost always nice, considerate, and willing to do a little more to help you. Clean and quick on spills, parking lot unfortunately fills up fast and many drivers seem to forget how to drive or just don't pay attention. I adore that they give those with special needs opportunities in many departments and work with them properly. They always try to be assuring and kind.

Firstly, almost every Jewel is pretty much the same. They're clean, they have great quality, great selections, and decent prices.

During this particular trip the cashier was very polite. I had more than 10 items, but she let me come through the express lane.

Overall it was a decent shopping trip. I just wish I didn't get so much food.

I had quite a mishap with a delivery order and Sachin who answered the phone at the Jewel store in Arlington Heights, IL went far and beyond with "customer service" to make sure I received my order and refund me for items that I did not receive. What would have turned in to me not ordering again for delivery from Jewel, I will continue to order thanks to Sachin!!
