It was our first time in the area and we felt so welcome! We were able to try so many samples of their sweets and the staff were extremely generous. In addition to the nuts and sweets they also have some spice blends (zaatar) and free coffee for customers. Will definitely be back!

I’m from Kansas City and every time I come to Chicago I come here for their delicious sweets and all their varieties of nuts but most importantly their great service Hamada is always welcoming, greats you with a smile and a cup of coffee.

Love this place! Very friendly and helpful as we had never had real Turkish Delights. So many flavors and variety, well worth the drive from Chicago!!! Enjoyed the chocolates, nuts, and sweets. My husband LOVED the coffee as well!

For the past week I’ve been coming and buying from you guys and always I get help from the new hire. He is in training. He is a nice person and he is good with a customer service. He helped me a lot and he’s a funny guy. He always make people laugh and give you what you want so you can get out the store happy and have a smile on your face.

Absolutely love this place. My family orders a lot from here online but this was my first time going in person. The place was very clean, the smell of coffee and desserts was amazing, and everything was absolutely delicious. Everyone was super nice and welcoming to us. We recently visited Little Palestine for the first time and had the pleasure of stopping by the Nut House for nuts and sweets. Our experience was great, largely thanks to Hamdan's warm and welcoming service. He asked if it was our first visit and graciously offered us samples, which was a very nice touch and helped us make our selections. The Nut House proved to be a gem in this vibrant part of Chicago, reflecting the amazing food and rich culture of the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic tastes and exceptional service!

Oh my God this place has the best and most extensive selection of homemade Middle Eastern candies that you could ever possibly imagine. They all have nuts in them and they are not overly sweet. I have never seen anything like this, so I was just in awe of the place it is so clean and beautiful you just have to go there to see what I’m talking about

I love this place! They have a great selection of turkish delights (the rose walut is my favorite), snacks, coffee, and gift sets. The shop is very nice. Hamdan was very helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful shopping experience.

The staff is so friendly and kind, especially to my daughter and niece. We purchased some chocolates and Turkish delights which are always wonderful. The whole experience was great, we will be back for sure!!!!

I discovered this place a few years ago when I was looking for a place to get unique desserts and snacks for my parents. What a special place! When you first walk in, you feel like you've walked into a boutique along a busy boulevard in downtown Amman (at least how imagine it). The shop is so bright, colorful, and neatly organized and the owners and staff are hospitable and attentive, even when it's busy. I ordered an assortment of nougat, baklava, and halva and by the recommendation of the owner, honey crunch (similar to a Taiwanese snack that my dad loves). Lotus baklava was the clear winner in my family and my dad really liked the honey crunch. Since then, I've visited a few times, trying different things. Last fall, I tried the assorted chocolates in the back of the shop. The variety is overwhelming (so many pistachio flavors!) and each is beautifully wrapped. Most importantly, they tasted amazing (and I'm not even a chocolate person). So amazing, that I was thinking about the chocolates this past month. Finally pulled the trigger and stopped by today with a friend. I ate a chocolate on the way home and confirmed that it's still the best chocolate I've had in Chicagoland. This place is a must visit for treating yourself and loved ones to something sweet!

The Nuthouse is my go to spot for a nice gift for family and friends. The sweets and nuts they have are high quality. They also have very fresh and flavorful coffee. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!
