Allsup's Convenience Store

While Thrifty's was price gouging everyone (and trying to hide it by turning off their big price sign) in the wake of hurricane Harvey, Allsups kept their price for fuel reasonable.

Guy was very friendly gave me paper towels to clean up the slushie i spilled in the car. Bathrooms were clean.

Been here several times,,, no longer get gas at this location,,, had issues with dirty gas at this location,,, never had problems with fuel lines and etc in my car until I filled up here once,, right away my tank was not registering on my gauge , never had problems with at before,, and after that episode,,, do this day have never had problems with my gauge registering full tank,,, I had to change a spark plug and ignition coil,,, have no problems since,, must be dirty gas or has water leaking into their storage tanks,,, not sure,, but won’t get fuel here,, also several fuel pumps were out of order, shoulda been a red flag,,, the staff was nice and helpful,, and the burritos are good 😊

Use it in a pinch for gasoline, try not to buy inside to costly.

If you're planning on shopping at this also at this time. I would suggest going somewhere else if it's not the lack of products being stalked on the coffee being made pumps not now I have to deal with a manager and employees that are rude and vindictive I would spend my money somewhere else unfortunately I live right behind the store and if you're from Clyde you know what I'm talking about unless you just love their fried food so much that you're willing to put up with lackluster below-average service from the manager and some employees not all not only that but the city of Clyde gets road damage and noise pollution from the semis that do not spend money at the store they do not fuel up at the store so we don't get any tax money from putting up with the road damage and the noise you think at least if we have a truck stop in our town we would be getting some tax revenue from it but we're not because those people don't spend any money at they just Park their trucks there without spending any money

This is definitely the nastiest gas station I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. No toilet paper or towels in the bathroom, flies buzzing around, puddles of gross water, and the worker wasn’t wearing a face mask, despite the government ordered mandate. Wish I had stopped somewhere else

Absolutely horridly rude, snarky employee. The store is disgusting, restrooms have no soap, and chunks missing from restroom walls. Products are expired, old, moldy, gross and the soda fountain is atrocious. Definitely needs some corporate intervention, and FAST.

Unfortunately every time I stop and fill up at an Allsup's with pay at pump options there is never any paper for the pump meter to print a receipt so you have to risk getting sick by going inside to stand in line for a receipt that should have printed outside because they are to lazy to change paper rolls at the pumps.
