Very friendly atmosphere, excellent service. Food was delicious. I had the grilled shrimp salad and S.O. had the ribeye steak. 5/5 and a must visit

The drinks are great, especially the long island iced tea. The atmosphere is great and the service is top notch. This is definitely our place when we come to historic Abilene. The food is really well made. Hats off to the Bee Hive, get over here and enjoy! No really put down your phone and get here now 😁 Special thanks to the manager Scott.

Boy howdy was the food delicious! Went around 5 PM and sat right at the bar! Staff were extremely pilot and very welcoming! The bartenders recommended to get the Chef special which was bacon wrapped steak and shrimp and the sauce they put on that steak was divine! Also had an old fashioned and it was well balanced and had some kick!

Great food. Burgers are awesome! Prime rib was extra thick. Adult drinks are well made!

Perfect tonight! From the bread to the main course, everything was hot (a big deal for me) and extremely well prepared. The waitstaff did their jobs as well as any we’ve seen and I recommend everything we ate. :) We arrived at 5:20pm on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately, but by 7pm there was a line out the door. All around awesome experience and an excellent value!

Had the special and prime rib. Both were fantastic. The bacon wrapped asparagus was a little over cooked on the ends but we'll worth it and definitely all eatin up. Salads were nice and our spinach artichoke dip was very tasty as an appetizer.

Excellent Food & service! Highly recommend. Our family went here based on many recommendations that they had excellent food. It was wonderful. We went on a Saturday night so it was busy and we had a wait. But the food was awesome! I had grilled salmon with baked potato and Caesar salad. My husband had the buffalo hamburger which was wonderful. My son had their chicken fried steak which is what they are known for. I would highly recommend. They have two locations. We went to the one in Abilene. Next time, we would like to try their other Beehive restaurant in Albany, Texas which is about 30 minutes away.

If you want drinks and decent food and a great time with friends…. This is the dive for you.

Got to be one of my top 50 all time restaurants!

The smell of mesquite caught me on the sidewalk so I decided to stop and check it out. Asked for a seat in the corner and just so happened it was a nice window seat, ordered the salmon and it was phenomenal, never had it cooked on mesquite grill and boy was it awesome. Despite my T-shirt and shorts was greeted,seated and served with excellent service. Thanks beehive for topping off an already good day with a great meal. Will definitely visit again.

Great food, good customer service. Long Island was on point. Gald we got to visit this place. Hubby ordered a rib eye and u got their fried chicken steak and it was really good.

Sooooo good. Was told about this place so we wanted to try it out and it did not disappoint. Just me and the husband so we sat at the bar. Service was great and every bit of the food phenomenal, cooked to perfection. I had the filet and the husband got the ribeye. Highly recommend this place.

We had the prime rib, it was melt in your mouth tender and the flavor was spot on!! I’m a foodie , as well as a former BBQ food truck owner and grew up in my parents restaurant, also travel a lot with my husband so have eaten at quite a few places in my time.This place just took over as number one!! The servers and manager along with the owners themselves made a sure to come by and chat for a few moments. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Great dinner spot, steak was good and the baked sweet potato was delicious. Next time I'll order extra sweet potatoes for dessert! A+

On our way to Colorado for vacation my husband and I stopped to eat, we heard about this place on the Texas bucket list t.v show as the best place for steak in Texas.
Boy, they were not kidding! I had the 10oz new York strip, and he ate the 45oz ribeye. And that was an amazing steak! Tender and full of flavor, the green beans and tomatoes, and mashed potatoes, we're yummy, the salted caramel cheese cake was delicious.
Impeccable service warm inviting atmosphere,makes this place a must see.

Food is amazing, drinks are great and service stellar. Addison was our server and she delivered great service. You won’t be disappointed!

Late Valentine’s date. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Even got my name right, which is somewhat difficult with mine. They were out of their special which sounded delicious but their offerings are all tasty. They can certainly make a top notch Long Island Iced Tea! We’ll be back!

One of the best resturants in Abilene. Had the pork chop (oscar'd) was amazing!!! and the Long Island Ice teas are the best.

The food is delicious and upscale and a little pricey. They have the best rib bye steak ever. This time I had the Salmon with wine and it was delicious. Also. Cobbler with Ice cream

We have eaten at the Beehive for years. It’s definitely one of the top places in Abilene for a nice dining experience. The food is well prepared and the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. It’s pretty much our “special occasion” place to eat. We have never been disappointed with anything at the Beehive. If you are staying at the new hotel across the street you owe it to yourself to go over to the Beehive.

My "Go To" place for 25 years. The steaks and lamb are in a class by themselves! Always consistently great food and service! A blue rare filet is divine!!!
