Catfish Corner

The food was just ...ok,
but cold waitress was nice but must've been really busy in the back. Atmosphere was cool and everyone was friendly. Probably the last time eating here. Used to be good don't know what's happening. Maybe time to update the menu
just saying maybe just a pinch of flavoring too.

There was a party of 10 of us that had a birthday party today and the food was great and our server was fantastic. Her name was Abby. I’m thinking the boss should give her a big raise. She is a fantastic person. She waited on us with the most smiles and cut up with us the whole time we were there. Just went by and ate here for the first time in a while. Our server was so friendly! Her name was Debra and she took great care of us. Also, the new manager, Herb, came out and talked to us after our food came out and made sure we were having a good time and to make sure the food was good. Absolutely love this kind of service! The food was great as always, but the service and hospitality was out of the park. Will definitely be coming back more frequently!

Garry and I stopped in while in Abilene,it was very good! Must be a local favorite, because every table stayed filled up,they have excellent customer service and food! Onion rings are yummm! Garry had the fish basket and I had the fish sandwich.We highly recommend you try them.

The catfish is to die for. However, if you get a take out order, be sure to check for your order before you leave for your tarter sauce, cocktail sauce,or any other extras. Even if I order tartar sauce, it is not always in the bag, even if you are told it is. I don't know about you, but it's not good catfish without tartar sauce.

There isn't any better catfish around Abilene! It doesn't matter if you eat in or take out the quality it about the same.

**NOTE** IF IT IS FRIDAY OR SATURDAY, IT WILL BE BUSY!! IF EATING IN YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT!! IF YOU ORDER YOUR TAKE OUT EARLY IN ORDER TO GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE! I CALL AT 4 PM FOR AN ORDER, I WANT TO PICK UP AT 530 PM. I NEVER HAVE AN ISSUE, BUT IF I TRY TO CALL AFTER 5 PM, I CAN NOT GET AN ANSWER ON THE PHONE TO PLACE MY ORDER. SO, PLAN AHEAD AND ENJOY!!

The combo platter is fantastic. Talk about a lot of food. I was stuffed. Stuffed crab, shrimp, fish, and a choice of potato.
The jalapeño hush puppies are amazing.
Waitresses are great and have a good outgoing personality.

I've eaten here since I was knee high to a grasshopper, and it always had its own...down home type of feel about the place that was like a fish fry out at the farm. A lady named Deb has been my waitress the last few years, and she's never messed up my order and the food is always fresh.

RECENTLY, HOWEVER!
Apparently the new owner decided that it's appropriate to shove a serving of Jesus down everyone's throat, and I don't want to listen to people who can NOT sing - regardless what the topic is.

If it's not broken - why fix it??

Herbie and staff was super nice and attentive to our table. Food came out fast, hot 🔥 and delicious 😋 Definitely will return.

I have had a really hard time finding a good place to get catfish like my momma’s! This place is absolutely amazing!!!!!! And Aubrey our waitress was great and I love her southern accent it made it all the better of an experience!!! 🥰

After reading reviews, my husband and I went anyway. Staff and service was great, food was good and we went at a good time because food and drinks came out in a timely manner. We live in Ft. Worth TX just passed by while working the storm and will go back !!

Have been eating here for a long time. The food is always good and waitresses friendly.

All you can eat catfish everyday! What more could you want. Fresh tasting crunchy with awesome tarter sauce. The side salad is fresh and taste great. Fries and baked potato are average but who cares about this anyway.

I like fish very much so I only like the fish from fish corner the prices or reasonable the the fish is always cook just how I like it well done

First time visit here, I was in town for the outlaw and legends concert. My sister-in-law Judy as seen the picture told us to meet her at Catfish Corner, at first I was skeptical but after eating the food I'm a Believer!!! I had chicken myself cuz I don't eat catfish, the chicken was awesome and the rest of the family loved the catfish, so five stars to y'all, also met the owner while we were there.. Really nice guy, he's also the cook!!! good old family business, so if you're hungry!!! Head on down to the Catfish Corner, you won't be disappointed.

We had a group of 7, we sat quickly, and our food was delicious. The waitress was amazing she made our experience great. I would recommend this place. 👌

Enjoy the fish, onion rings, cold slaw, ice tea. Waiters are attentive.
