Necker's Toyland

A wonderful place to buy toys for the kiddos, but they also have lots of complex Legos and stuff even for grown ups like me who still like to do Legos sometimes. They have an array of just about anything you could want or need and the staff is so kind and welcoming. The store is bigger than it looks from the outside so be sure to explore! I was buying gifts for my niece, they offered a gift bag and the gift tissue paper and to put it all together for me, using one of the gifts I got to make it even more personal and just amazing! It started raining when I left so there's a few raindrops on it.

Fantastic toy store! Has so many things for all different interests and hobbies! My kid loves this place and so do we! Family owned and operated. The owner is just the sweetest too! Highly recommend this place!

Neckers is such a wonderful old family run business. Debbie will help you with any thing you are looking for. From 0 to 100 years of age. There are toys, puzzles, crafts and the latest craze in her shop. You won't leave empty handed.

Always stop when traveling through Simsbury - I didn't find anything I needed this trip but my road trip partner did..

The largest, tiniest toy store. One stop shopping for all you need for your kids, grands and more. My go-to toy store for over 25 years from own children to now my grandchildren- something for all. Gets better every day. This shop was a saving grace during the pandemic when all other toy stores were closed. Don't miss a chance to visit and shop!

Neckers is an amazing store with many items that you won't find anywhere else. If you're looking for that one elusive toy. Don't waste your time. Come into the shop that employees greet you like a friend. The staff will try to get you what you are looking for. Neckers is clean, nest and tidy. If you're an adult, I'm sure that you'll find something from your past on here that will make you smile. Parking lot out front is small, but there is another one in the back. Your children will love it as much as you did when you were small. They are THE place to go if you're looking for Legos!

Place is great. So awesome to have a REAL "brick and mortar" toy store in the area. One of the few left. Prices can be a bit high for some things, however it's to be expected and to keep a local physical toy store alive it's well worth it.
LEGO selection is awesome, way larger than anything else I've seen. (They can sometimes order you hard to find sets if they can get them).
Large selection for all ages too. Have little ones? They have a whole room of stuffies and under 3.
Crafts - check. Games for all ages - check. Active toys and games (ninja warrior etc) - check.
Models, model rockets (and building/painting supplies) - check.

Worth the travel!

This is the only place I've found model rocket engines and cap-gun caps in years. There is a great variety of toys that you don't see in department stores. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. Shopping here is a fun experience.

Been going here since when I was a kid. Love this store. It is as good today as it was 20 years ago when my parents would take us. High quality toys for every interest and age. You’ll find stuff here that you won’t find anywhere else. High recommended!!

Another must see Simsbury gem! Awesome for all ages! From board games to putty to childhood toys, this place has it all!

The best! Family owned toy store that carries a huge variety of really cool toys. A lot of their inventory you will not find anywhere else. Everything from Frisbees and other outdoor games to board games and educational toys. A must visit for kids of all ages as there is something here for absolutely everyone.

I love this toy store. They are always super helpful. I was looking for toys for a particular "dragon loving" little girl. They provided plenty of options. I'm sure she will be very happy on her birthday. I recommended this local gem.

Great selection of toys, including items where your kids can unplug as well. Prices are decent, selection is good, staff is friendly. Plenty of parking out front. I don't have anything against larger stores, but it's nice to see the Mom and Pop toy shops doing well.

I am happy to give this place a positive review. I was looking for Toys for my four-year-old granddaughter. I walked out of there with a bundle. Everything you could want from contemporary 2 art supplies to board games. Very helpful worker there directed me and spent all the time I needed. What a great resource in Simsbury.
