Vintage Bottle Shop

I'm hesitant to even write this review, because I desperately want to keep this hidden gem to myself, but my desire for Jay to succeed and thrive trumps my desire to keep this place a secret. Vintage Bottle Shop has easily the best selection of Single Malt Scotch of any store in northern Georgia, and it's not even close.

There is an excellent Bourbon and Rye selection as well, but don't go begging for the hot allocated flavor-of-the-week bourbon from Buffalo Trace. Jay is a curator, and is disinterested in playing foolish games in pursuit of tightly allocated showcase bottles. Instead, ask him for a recommendation. He has tried a staggering number of whiskies, and will ask good questions before offering his thoughts on what you might enjoy.

Personally, I recommend checking out his incredible selection of Compass Box blended malts. They really make something for every palate, and Jay keeps all of their core expressions in stock, as well as loads of their limited release offerings.

I'm travelling for work and stumbled across this place and I'm so glad I did! Large diverse selection of bourbon and whiskeys. 6-8 fairly rare store picks. Saw a few allocated bottles and several "hard-to-finds". Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. A few bottles were overpriced which is normal considering supply/demand issues, but a large majority were right on the money or below. Excellent place to stock up and I'll be back soon👍

Best place within 200 mils for bourbon and scotches. Several hard to find items are regularly in stock and the gentleman that owns it knows his stuff as far as whiskey without question. Love stopping by just to see what they have, but alas, my wallet keeps me from doing that too often because I always find something new to try!

This place is amazing. They have a fantastic collection of bourbon, rum, whisky, vodka, rye, etc. The store is literally packed with excellent barrel picks, hard-to-find items, and hidden gems. Jay, the owner, is more than happy to show to something you will love. And he always has the story for how he found these bottles... Amazing!
So, make sure to drop by and buy something you never expected, or exactly what you were looking for. Even found a Bardstown Foursquare Collaboration bottle.

I love this place. Great people with a great bourbon and cigar game. Prices are right and haven't gotten a store pick from them that I don't like.

Amazing experience every time I shop here. Today I was introduced to a custom blend by the bottle shop of a J Mattingly Bourbon. Probably one of the best bourbons I ever tasted. Even if you don't live close to Acworth, it is 100% worth the drive to check out their selection. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! So glad I live just down the road from my new favorite store!!

Best Liqour store around. This is a small shop that packs it in. They have everything as well as unique offerings. The owners and their staff are friendly and can assist you with whatever you desire. They seem to keep in stock the product that the other closer store does not. They know what people are looking for and they stock up. We are lucky to have such a great shop so close!!

This is hands down my favorite place for excellent craft beer, wine, and spirits. I'm a huge fan of craft beers, scotch, and bourbon and they have a great selection of three!! Their bourbon store picks are always guaranteed to be great and the staff are always extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough! Easily 5 Stars!

Great store, always has a good variety bourbon, rum and wines. The owner Jay is a super guy. Always has something really interesting or hard to find and if you want something particular he will order it for you. I used to shop at the big box stores, but I give first crack at whatever I looking for to them first even if I now its more expensive. You wont be disappointed!

This place is amazing! One of the best selections of whisky (bourbon, scotch and world whisky) in the greater Atlanta area. If you’re looking for ordinary stuff that you can find anywhere, there are plenty of shops. But for special bottles this is the place to go. The scotch selection is amazing with many hidden treasures. The world whisky section is great with not only Nikka and Suntory offerings (which are hard enough to find elsewhere) but also rare Japanese stuff like the amazing Fukano. The owner Jay is very friendly and it’s worth getting to know him. The wine section is smaller but each bottle is selected for quality and I have enjoyed every bottle Jay has recommended, many of which are great value ($45 Brunello that is fantastic and better than many $70-80 bottles). This shop is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful that a fellow Scotch friend recommended it to me. It’s totally worth the 50 minute drive!
