We used to trap muskrats and sell them to a feller here at Wilcox...take the money, buy bait and tackle then go fishing at Hilton....many times

If you are interested in archery this is the place to go! Owner, personally ensures that you make the proper selection and get fitted. Also, provides selection of firearms. Nice options on hunting equipment but really has a lot of fishing supplies too.

Fantastic personal customer service! Purchased a Bergara B-14 and Vortex optic. Barely had to touch the dial but a click or two and it sighted in perfectly. Was not upsold any junk and the Staff did an amazing job setting up the rifle as well as being kind to answer all my questions

Brought my Matthews bow there on a Sunday morning to fix it from a stupid dry fire. These folks are so knowledgeable and so nice. I can’t say enough about how great this place has been over the years. I have bought guns, bows, fishing gear and scopes and I have never been disappointed. Skip the big places like BPS. This place is awesome with an amazing, helpful staff. Well done Team Wilcox! 🇺🇸

Went in to get my peep sight and bow sight re-adjusted but come to find out there were other errors found on my bow. Bow technician explained to me how my bow was incorrectly set-up and explained why he needed to correct these. Needlessly to say, I had to redo my entire set-up to my bow. Bow tech answered all my questions and I really feel a positive difference since shooting my new set-up. Been going to Wilcox for my archery and fishing needs. Awesome customer service every time I step into the store.

Many thanks to you guys for allowing store credit on a slug gun I won by raffle. I already have a H&R that is awesome but wanted a good shotgun. They allowed me to get a StoegerM3000 and appreciate it so much. The customer service was outstanding. Wilcox is Awesome !!

Best bait and tackle store in the 7 city area! The staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable about anything fishing, hunting or gun related. Highly recommend if you are in the area and you need help!

Deer season is coming to an end. But I would like to give thanks to Tom and all the crew at Wilcox for setting me up for my 1st year of crossbow hunting. Knowledgeable and friendly service. Don’t waste time at the big box stores, go to Wilcox

I went to this store because it was recommended by a customer who shopped there.

The service was phenomenon. I could feel the ease shopping there verses anywhere else because my questions where answered without rushing me to buy what I wanted to get.

I would say, for all my outdoor needs, that's one store I'd check into first before going anywhere else.

Amazing people. I broke my bow today and walked in to the store for help, I didn’t buy my bow from Wilcox but they treated me like family and got on the phone with Bowtech and got me replacement parts. now, even though it’s a long drive for me, this will be the only archery shop I go to.

Great place!! Got my 14 year old daughter fitted for a bow. Tom was great with her and showed her exactly what she needed to know. I feel like we got a great bow for a beginner and it will last here a long time. And I was pleased with the price. We will definitely be back again for our bow hunting needs.

Traveled to Wilcox from VA Beach. Purpose of trip was to check out Archery inventory and indoor range.

New to VA Beach. Drive wasn't bad. Unfortunately, due to "the tunnel " I am told things can go sideways in a blink.

Gambling on the tunnel aside, I found the folks at Wilcox to be worth the gamble. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Definitely worth the trip.

I can't speak to the fishing side. I am not a fisherman however, it appears they are well stocked with fishing gear.

Phenomenal experience getting a bow setup taken care of with Mr. Wilcox. Got excellent baseline instruction to help me get off on the right foot as a new archer. Will be coming back for maintenance, any other needed accessories, and will definitely be referring friends and family here. All the staff are very friendly as well. It's an awesome place.

I love this place! It's not just the old school family business vibe that captures me at Wilcox, it's the diversity of gear, bait, bows, and more.
They have a real mountain/shore outfitter feel to the place, and I like it! Feels good to my senses, and there are so many different people that go there to get what they need for what they love to do. Great place for bait!

I purchased a Parker crossbow here a few years ago and recently brought it back for service and to replace the scope. Pete inspected the bow, installed and sighted the scope and had me on my way in no time. It was well worth my drive from Chesapeake to support this local, family owned business. They have everything you need to hunt and fish around Hampton Roads and beyond. Don't waste your time at those big retail box stores. Keep it local. You won't be disappointed!
