Jenna was absolutely awesome behind the bar. She was charismatic, and we conversed plenty. Hooked us up with some nice drinks made fresh. Try their castaway cocktail if you like a drink in the hot weather. Plus. The food was excellent.

Enjoyed a great meal with attentive service today. Ordered sirloin with coconut shrimp and enjoyed every bite. I couldn't eat all of it, so I left a bit on the plate. Also ordered a tim ram brownie cake to go.

We came to Outback for my birthday celebration. The service was wonderful and the food was cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Jena D, was on top of everything we asked for. She was amazing!

I wanted express how friendly and pleasant Aidan was. It made our experience eating here much more pleasant. Aidan keep your beautiful smile and making your customers feel that you care. We would like to have Aidan again whenever we come back. Need more people like you

Phenomenal.... After trying to figure out where to eat from multiple restaurant choices -- high-end restaurants to fast food I thought about the Outback. It hadn't come to mind because it had been 5+ years since I'd been there -- no particular reason why I hadn't. BEST DECISION EVER. As soon as I entered the door Forest (bartender) walked over to greet me and to take me to my seat which I was pleased to see as i was walking the restaurant was spotless and the music was at a nice level and appropriate for the setting. As I sat down I was immediately greeted by Troy G. He was extremely professional, gracious and knowledgeable of the menu providing me answers and suggestions related to my questions. I waited less than 2-3 minutes for Troy to reappear with my complimentary loaf of bread and glass of water and within a couple minutes later with my Peach Bellini (new on the menu) nicely garnished with fresh mint. Then within minutes Troy came with my meal. Everything was hot and absolutely delicious and fresh -- from the Alice Spring Chicken and Shrimp on the Barbie to the mixed fresh vegetables. After receiving my drink Forest smiled and asked how was it and throughout my meal Troy checked on me. May I add the price of the entire meal was more than reasonable. Everything was so great I would have been remissed not to ask Troy G. to speak to the manager and in a blink of an eye Delante (kitchen manager as well assist in the front) showed up. Once again I was met with professionalism kindness and a great deal of enthusiasm and knowledge of the overall establishment. He spoke to me about their yearly goal to make $5 million dollars. (I am sure I'll be helping them achieve that goal. I plan to bring my family the next time we go out to eat.) While talking to him he even cleverly acknowledged his supervisor Ray while giving him credit for their success and wanting to do the same as he continues his career. I didn't ask to speak to Ray because he was busy at the bar. I did immediately notice he was dressed professionally and was clean shaven. In all of the changes in the food industry it can be extremely difficult to find such excellent service when visiting a brick and mortar restaurant because of understaffing and the high demand for pick up and curbside orders -- well today I did. Hats off to the Outback team at the Patrick Henry area store on Jefferson Avenue, Newport News! [Thank you Delante for the free Bloomin Onion coupon during my next visit.]

Aiden was our server and I must say he is such a sweetheart and a very pleasant young man. His service was the absolute best. He is super friendly, and has a bubbly personality. He has such a beautiful spirit and positive attitude....our experience was great and he was very persistent in caring for us👍🏽

I went there for Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend! The wait staff were amazing. I wasn’t told a wait time but I didn’t care because I was early. We were seated fairly fast. The woman at the front was the sweetest! We were sat near their takeout door and it was cold because people were going in and out. I politely asked to be moved and she did so without a problem. Informed me that it had been a few complaints about that spot but she didn’t wanna deprive the waitress who was gonna serve us the table. So we sat in another part of her section. Lydia was her name. She was the sweetest very attentive the whole night and down to her comping something I didn’t like out of my meal with ease and not a complaint. She was tipped nicely as well! We ended off our meals and she gave us complimentary $10 coupons for both me and my date and a wonderful wave goodbye from the sweet lady in the front! I didn’t catch her name but a nice lady with glasses and a really great attitude. Over 9/10 I will definitely be back! Thank you Lydia !

Came here for a bday dinner...enjoyable...staff was short staffed but food was good!!

Our server Forrest was awesome. He brought out a nice chocolate cake with ice cream for my Godmothers bday 🎂 🥳 was not expecting it but it made her day. The steak,🦞 ,🐟 were delicious as well. Thank you

Great Service, food was delicious and to avoid a wait time we ate at the bar! The experience was just perfect 👌 That bartender/waiter definitely has organizational skills and was so pleasant! A real asset to Outback Steak House for sure.

Amazing good. 5 stars from start to end. We got seated as soon as we got there. The blooming onion was perfect. The bread was hot and soft like it just came out the oven. Then the meals. 4 orders. All 4 was hot and perfect cooked. Every one was very happy with theirs. All were impressed. Drinks never got empty. Waitress was very happy and polite. She was also helpful in explaining the choices and what we ordered.

I went after work and I got 2 margarita flights I couldn't taste the alcohol but they were good. And I got the fried shrimp and baked potatoe. It was really good.

Jenna was awesome. She took great care of us. Everything tasted wonderful and came out just the way we ordered it. Great dinner experience!!

Brayden was killing it! Took our questions and requests in stride. I’m allergic to corn and cane sugar. It’s always tough avoiding. Outback and their team is inconsistent with what “rare” means in steak but 100% consistent in quality customer service. Brayden helped make our celebration dinner good in the end! 🤍🥰

Pretty good Outback I must say. From the very beginning to the end. I was immediately greeted by the hostess Lauren who was very kind, polite and friendly which I know that's what a hostess is supposed to do but this actually felt genuine so I wanted to mention that. I was sat immediately. Received some great recommendations and details on the food. My steak came out a perfect medium rare which doesn't always happen at other places. I'd definitely go back!

We got there 30 minutes before closing (didn't realize until we got there!). The staff was super polite and assured us it was fine. They didn't try to rush us, our server was very polite, the food was excellent, and steaks were cooked perfectly.

I meant to make write this a little while ago but I remembered because I was driving by. KW was my waitress and she was just an amazing human being. She was extremely attentive without being all up no the table. She has a very bubbly personality. It was also nice seeing her play and get along with all her coworkers....seems like she really does love her job. We will be coming back in to see her. Food was great she made some recommendations which we decided to order. We never ordered those items before so it was a nice change up from what we normally order. Keep KW in your store as long as possible because she is the heart of that place.

Went in to spend a gift card my boss gave me around Thanksgiving. And I must say I have a good time. We got blooming onion, burger and fries and the soup and salad combo for lunch. The food was good.
Even though Takisha was pretty busy she gave us all the attention we needed. I'll definaltly go back.

My husband and I dine here a few times a week. We sit at the bar. Staff are very friendly, courteous and anxious to please. Jasmine and Joe always take special care in preparing our steak! They are awesome!!!

The food was fantastic. The waitress was the best our lunch group ever had within 2 years. We will return. We even call the Chief out of the kitchen and presented a standing cheering session. You guys are awesome keep up the great work.
