Courteous staff helpful and present without hovering. Immediate assistance at the checkout counter. As soon as I stepped to it a CSR was just steps away. Again helpful but of course like everywhere they want your info so you get more emails and text messages. You can opt out of course. The Backstage is their answer to clearance. All nicely organized as if it was regularly price merchandise. No bins, no open or leaking containers. And true clearance prices not marked up to take 75% off. I got a jumbo bottle of designer body scrub for $5.99 I'll be back.

If I'm being perfectly honest, I am a returning Macy's fan. I used to love shopping at Macy's but things seemed to go downhill with them about 15 or so years ago. I felt that their quality had gone down and prices up. Recently though, I've found myself shopping here again, at this particular store. I have found good quality brand clothes for great prices on multiple occasions! This store is well-organized, brightly lit, and easy to navigate. The staff seems to be very helpful and kind every time I've shopped there between summer and this busy holiday season. The clearance racks are organized and early labeled, not all junked up at all! The only downside is for the girls clothes, the selection is awful. I don't have the best luck in finding a variety of clothing for my daughters. Other than that, I really like this store and will continue to shop here.

I always enjoy going to and saving money at Macy's! To name a few outstanding staff members,....Emya at the Mac counter, Kelsie in the jewelry dept, Paul can be found in various departments, Kathy in the home dept....they always provide excellent customer service. The only thing you need is a little patience due to staff shortage.

The staff was amazing and helped me to resolve an issue I had. The store was clean, easy to find items, and again, the customer service was excellent.

Love all the different choices, colors. I cannot leave without buying stuff. I lo e it.

I have been saving up for a while to buy Jean Paul gauthier le male elixer and I went here and purchased it the lady the helped me was very nice polite and professional

Cashiers and sales reps are friendly and approachable. Great place to find casual/work attire for the family.

Maya in the perfume section was wonderful! She was so funny, attentive, and patient as we smelled several perfumes and colognes. She offered great suggestions and we purchased some of her suggested scents. We will be back because of her. (The team working with her was great too )

Nice stuff, easy returns, and great sales online and in store. Awesome place to browse, something for everyone. Good music on the overhead at the Newport News store...made me and my daughter bust a move! ...it wasn't pretty.

Everyone was helpful. The gentleman that rung me whom works in men's wear was awesome. His professionalism was impeccable. Please acknowledge him for such an outstanding job he has been doing. This gentleman name is James. He also a very friendly attitude towards all customers.

The man at the jewelry section was super helpful and nice. Wish they had more in the home section.

Yesterday afternoon I was shopping in your fragrance area I purchased around $700. My husband wanted to spoil me well my experience was Awesome I can't remember her name but she was exceptional with customer service she has black hair I think she is Latin and we are the same age 58 I'm retired from managing Hair and skincare Salons in the Richmond area I'm very familiar with customer service so she is a great asset for your beautiful store Thanks 🥰

Clean, organized and I really like the sales! Yes, some of the clothes on sale at 50% off are still too expensive, but I got a suit for $175, and it's a GOOD suit!!!
The only negative thing I truly encountered was the music was louder than I feel it should be, but someone else might say turn it up even more.
The worst part of the whole store from previous visits is the kitchen department. They USED to have a good selection. Last visit was very disappointing!

Superior customer service from Sir Trev in the mens department!!! He went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. Unfortunately the item we were looking for was not in stock. He reassured us that it was his duty and pleasure to assist! Within no time, he located the item and arranged to have it delivered. Good customer service isn’t always easy to find. I commend him as he is certainly an asset to Macy’s. Thanks Trev!
