West Stride

I had an amazing experience getting fitted and shopping for shoes with Tara!! I’ve been out of running for forever and was worried I would feel out of place stepping into a running store. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Tara was warm, encouraging, and patient with all of my questions and the prices were very reasonable. A professional fitting was also a game changer in finding the right shoes. I would truly recommend West Stride to runners of any level.

Robin was super helpful, answered all of my questions, and made great shoe recommendations. I found two pairs I loved, tried them out on the treadmill, and went home with both.

I went in for a fitting and had such a great experience. Katrina was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I never felt rushed and left with shoes and insoles that I'm excited to run in! If you are on the fence about getting some real running shoes I can highly recommend West Stride--fitting process is data driven and the staff are so kind and all love running!

West stride is a women owned running store right in Buckhead. I came in looking for a shoe for the gym and was given so much support and attention. They did a whole foot analysis (with the results emailed to me) and we talked about what I had been wearing and what I liked. I ended up trying on 3 different shoes (2 of which I never would have thought were good fits for me). Walked out with a new pair of shoes (although I would have loved to have bought socks, clothes, etc too). These ladies know what they're selling. I highly recommend this store if you need fitness apparel or shoes.

I shamelessly shop here every weekend and every time I go, the staff is I friendly helpful, knowledgeable, snd sooo friendly! Sally knows my entire family by now for how much she’s helped us with a smile on her face! My entire family is outfitted with shoes and apparel from here and I highly recommend it to anyone I speak with! There is no other place to get fitted for running shoes the RIGHT way the FIRST time! Love that it’s women owned too, and the owner is a lovely human who I see at the store often. Highly recommend!

Staff is so nice! I called to inquire about Hoka women’s shoes and the team member was thrilled to ask me about what style and size I was looking for and promised me they had a nice selection to choose from.

First time at this store, very impressive with the attention to detail from the staff. With there state of the art equipment, we were to find the best running shoes for my wife.

We had a great experience and were able to purchase multiple pairs of Lululemon and Free People shorts for my daughters. Great selection of colors and sizes. A friendly and helpful staff too!

I buy running shoes maybe once a year, so I never know exactly what I need. I always come to West Stride because their associates are so patient and helpful when I am figuring out what I need. This time I worked with Lang who talked me through what type of running I did, how I liked the shoes to fit on my feet, and what options were the best. I had been having foot pain and decided to try going to a store that could give me some advice on the best shoes for my problem. The minute I walked in,, I was greeted in a friendly but not hovering way. I ended up being helped by Sally who is a very patient and helpful employee. She took a lot of time with me and did a scan of my foot to tell me specifically what shoe brand and size/width would help me most. She went to the back and returned with several pairs that were all great. She listened and was sympathetic and knowledgeable. I would definitely ask for her when I return and I will never buy shoes anywhere else again. They are first class and I can tell that they want to earn and keep customers with top notch brands, and service. Ask for Sally!

I had an amazing experience at this store. The staff was so helpful and patient. I was having knee and hip pain, so they did a full fit (3D imaging and recorded me running on a treadmill) to help me find the perfect shoe and insert. I was amazed at how much better my body felt after finding the right shoe. My neighbor recommend this store to me and I have since sent four more of my friends and family to get a full fit.

I have always bought shoes directly off the rack so this was my first time getting professionally fitted for the shoe. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Matt was the sales representative who helped us and he was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He analyzed my gait barefoot and then with shoes on and recommended the perfect pair. Although I didn’t make a purchase today, I will definitely go back to buy the shoes. Highly recommend!!

Awesome running store. Secured a pair of Brooks kicks for my wife at a good cost. Great place, greater people! Really nice to have in the neighborhood.

I had a really good experience at West Stride today. I was greeted immediately when I walked through the door. I needed to purchase a pair of running shoes because the ones I have are pretty worn. I liked that they assess your gait (walk/run) with the treadmill and video to determine which type of show would be best for you. The person who helped me (I think her name was Tara) was friendly and very patient. It took me a while to decide between 3 pairs that I liked. I also noticed that other customers were receiving the same type of personalized service and attention. It was a great shopping experience and I would definitely purchase here again.

It was a great experience, my wife needed a pair of shoes but has several issues with her feet and her gait. The sales associate took his time, watch her walk, and explained everything about the way she walked and each pair of shoes he brought out for her.
Such a pleasant and professional experience, I even got myself a new pair of running shoes and we are definetely going to be return customers

Very helpful people working there. We bought 2 pairs of shoes for running 5k/10k and the whole experience was great! I’ll definitely come back for more. Can’t thank him enough. So bad I don’t know his name but he’s so professional, knowledgeable, patient and extremely friendly. I felt valued as a customer.

This is a great running store. The folks are knowledgeable and super nice. They have a great selection of clothing and running accessories. They have a good selection of shoes- not every model of every brand, but a well curated selection to meet most runner's needs. They have a hefty selection of racing shoes and spikes in the appropriate seasons.

This was be a good place to shop for a gift for a runner. In particular for the lady runner's, as they have some cute women's running clothing from brands like Oiselle.

Walked in, was greeted by several staff and then Annie whisked me away to get fitted in some comfy running shoes. As a novice, I felt accommodated and encouraged.

Off to the races!

My goal was simply to find a running shoe store with experts that could help me find the right shoes. If you’re like me and know next to nothing about running and the shoes you need, West Stride is the perfect place to start!

Local, women-owned and 10 minutes away? Yup, I’ll give it a shot!

I walked in eager to find a pair of shoes that could replace my worn out, blister-causing outlet sneakers that required insoles to use without being in pain. Megan greeted me and immediately made me feel welcomed and in good hands. I explained my wants and needs, and she started me off with a pair of shoes and the gait analysis. I’ve done this analysis once before at another running store, but this one seemed much more effective. Megan explained everything she was looking at, and nothing about it felt overplayed or gimmicky like the other store.

After the analysis, she brought out a few pairs of shoes to try. When I didn’t like the way a pair fit, she showed me a new way to tie my shoes so that they would fit better. Megan is great at sharing knowledge without making someone feel like a beginner. She also suggested running groups that would help me start to enjoy running. I truly appreciated her because this experience could have been daunting!

Once I compared multiple shoes, I decided on the Brooks Ghost 12. Megan also helped me pick out a pair of socks. I would’ve stared at the sock wall forever without her advice!

I’ve owned these shoes for less than 3 hours, and I’ve already taking them out. I love them! I enjoyed the entire experience of West Stride, and I’m looking forward to going back.
