We rented mountain bikes and did the Promised Land trail at Canaan Valley State Park. It was challenging, but so much fun, once we got the hang of it! The 6 mile loop took us 2 hours. Our teenage boys had a blast and went so fast. What an amazing adventure. Do this!

Great place to come with the family on rainy days, or days you can’t enjoy the ski resorts. They have a mini bike track inside, small workout area and weight room , workout bikes, rental bikes.

Rental bikes include e-bikes, fat tire bikes, mountain bikes and road bikes. Includes children’s bikes.

There is also a small bouldering area that will keep you climbing for a whole session, even as an experienced bouldered. You can buy some basic climbing gear here (chalk, tape, brushes), as well as basic biking gear (shorts, shirts, helmets, pedals).

There’s a small snack area, beer garden, nice outdoor sitting area for summer, and they host themed dinners weekly during the winter. They had a wonderful lavender kombucha on tap when we visited!

This shop is next level! Raises the bar in customer service and knowledge! I came in and told them the route I wanted to do, they went out of their way to set me up on the perfect bike , wheelset, bottle holders and snack bags! What an Amazing memorable ride! I would never has been able to do it without them! I cant wait to be back!

Fun place to climb indoors, roller blade, rent bikes, or just to hang out and enjoy a drink and eat. Great breakfast burritos and beer is also served here.

Trail Labs is a great stop in Canaan Valley. Gorgeous views from their beer garden, space for kids to run around, great collection of drinks (A & NA), and an always changing Boulder course that keeps my mountain goat- kids entertained. I have had several meals & every one hit the dang spot. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Fun climbing wall and indoor recreation option for kids and adults. Delicious quick food and great beer selection. Laid back atmosphere where kids can play while you wait for your food or have some drinks.

The food and environment here are so rad. The staff is AMAZING — so helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! Especially huge fan of Max, he’s an incredible teacher and awesome with kids.

This place is awesome! A real treasure in the valley. Great chill vibes, biking, climbing, beer, and great food. Highly recommend checking it out.

Trails labs is a great asset to the community of Canaan Valley but let's be totally honest, their Friday night smash burgers are the best part about 'em. They are super sweet people too.

Super friendly staff and patrons. Amazing beer selection. We spent a couple hours playing inside. Only wish I'd known that they were serving tacos that night before we'd eaten somewhere else!

Visited today! This just opened in the last couple weeks but it looks like it is going to be a great outdoors gear / rec hub in the area. The manager Kim was super helpful and had some great ideas for things to do in the area. Can't wait to go back.

Rented three fat tire bikes for trail riding. Max assisted us with getting the right sizes for both adults and kids and gave us some great recommendations on trails. Super helpful & great service!
