Just spent 3 days here. Loved it. Cabin 1 was private. General store had what we needed though we didn't order any burgers (smelled incredible). Friendly, helpful owner. We plan to return.

Super great mission an cause, and we were glad to be a part of it. Cabin (#4) was great. Staff was awesome and super helpful. Cabins are on a creek (you can literally hear the water running through the windows) and just down the road from the Cheat River (we caught a cpl fish in the river).

We rented out cabin 5 for our girls' weekend last month. Not only was the cabin quite clean and well furnished, but it was so comfortable! We were able to cook all of our meals there and enjoy the peace and quiet by the stream. The outdoor fire pit was awesome at keeping the bugs down and for making tasty s'mores! We will definitely be back in the future!

I loved this place. Well outfitted cabins. There will sufficient cooking and serving equipment in the kitchen. Bedding and towels were also in good supply. A grill was also provided. This was a great place for a suburban girl to decompress. Beautiful surrounding. Thanks for a lovely weekend!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The cabin we stayed in with our dogs was very nice and well-appointed, we enjoyed the natural beauty of the area and coming back to a comfortable place to relax with the pups. The location is in the heart of some of the best outdoor recreation in the state. The family that owns this business are extremely nice and even allowed us to check out late to get in one last hike. Thanks for making our time in West Virginia so special!

My fiance and I can't say enough about our stay at semper fi cabin. Ron and his staff are super people and the food was extremely good. Cabins were clean and cozy. Any time we went to the store was always asked how we were and was treated like they knew us forever. We really enjoyed our stay from Oct 29 thru Nov 1st. We plan on going back in the spring. PS thanks Ron and staff for a very pleasant stay.

I stayed here 7 yrs ago. The owners are very nice people, they treat you just like family. What they do for our Veterans is outstanding. God bless you and I will definitely be back next summer.

My family and I stayed here for opening weekend of deer firearms season. It was the best priced place in the area and very nice. There are 5 cabins, one for each branch of the military. We stayed in the Army or Hooah cabin. My husband is a veteran of the Ranger battalion, so it was fitting! The cabin was very warm. No cable or cell service, but the cabin had its own phone, wifi, and a TV with netflix and access to some select TV stations for news and weather. A full-sized kitchen was there and was super nice to make all our meals. We were able to go for walks on the property the outdoor resort is on. The people at the general store were super nice. The area does get more snow than Grafton where we usually stay and the opening weekend we stayed there several inches fell! Very neat place, a little out of the way for us, but I think its definitely worth it. All the money goes to a good cause too, so even more reason to come back. If you are a wounded veteran they will make accommodations for you, set up a hunt in a special tree stand, and even put you in a cabin where you can fish in a little pond off the back of cabin. Very accommodating and charming place in Wild and Wonderful WV!

I rented a cabin to take my elderly father away and it was wonderful. The cabin was set up perfectly for a wheelchair. The cabins are clean and the staff is very helpful.

Awesome food! Very clean! Awesome owners! We talked to them for awhile like we knew them forever. Very down to earch people! Highly recommend the Patriots burger and fries!

The cook is great. The food is fantastic. There cabins are like being at home. If you want to camp along the river the camp ground is the place.

The cabin is so well maintained, very serene place, a creek flowing next to it is the best part. Worth a stay in this place

I don't know if I can be objective here I'm totally biased when it comes to Tucker County great hamburgers and the surroundings are beautiful as we say get tuckered

The people ive meet are great just a little country store. We grabed a soda and had a conversation. It was great.

Just made a pit stop here on our journey, but they have cabin and tent sites to rent. Will be visiting here.
