I miss the store but it's nice that they found a way to stay open. The mobile store is cute and has a nice little selection. If you are travelling in a large group, you'll want to go in a few people at a time so everyone has space to look around. I love the color scheme and the employee was very friendly. I would definitely go back again.

I have been here twice and enjoyed my visit both times, great store for classic “older” candy items - those that you thought were no longer available as well as other treats that are bakery style items (such as fudge, chocolate, etc.

Great stop for gifts, or to treat the kids to an item after lunch, or yourself even!

The decor is a unique blend of modern with a feel of an old-self-serve candy store!

A fun little old school sweet shop! Laid back, friendly service. Good prices, fab selection. Really nice, locally made gelato and they're going to be making their own chocolates soon. A real gem!

This place is amazing! It reminded me of Diagonal Alley in the Harry Potter books, especially around the holidays.

One of the most magical and delightful candy stores I've visited, for sure. The selection is vast and caters to every sweet tooth, with local made treats, truffles and chocolates, classic candies from yesteryear, and all the candy jar specialties. I've been to candy stores the world over and this is still one of my very favorites.

This little candy shop is wonderful, they have so many hard to find candies and the decorations are wonderful! The service is always great and they often have new items/themes! I always stop here when I'm in the area and would highly recommend!

Our family loved this shop, it was a favorite stop no matter what time of year when we are in town & the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Once when my daughter was three they had just closed we just missed it & she cried outside the door, the employee saw her and opened the door and gave her some free cotton candy. VERY sad to see it is closed 😢

The store itself is a treat to look at, with a very Willy-Wonka-meets-Harry-Potter vibe, filled with delectable treats. Everything from bulk candies, fancy chocolates, and specialty items, to more retro-ish packaged candies (sugar babies, pop rocks, etc.). The owner and staff are amazing - helpful, happy, and friendly. They have established an annual Harry-Potter-inspired scavenger hunt, with clues that take participants all over downtown Hallowell, and kids and adults alike have a blast; many local businesses participate, and lots of people get pretty involved with their costuming. Scrummy Afters is worth a visit!

Whimsical and fun, it's sure to put a smile on your face. You can find nostalgic favorites here as well as on-trend, foodie oriented gourmet selections.
Ask about hosting an event here (birthday, etc...) in the back room.

I recently picked up some of theit hot cocoa bombs from Huiskamer Coffee House and highly recommend you all do the same. I just had the white peppermint hot cocoa and it might be the best hot cocoa I have ever had.

Always a joy to visit this williwonka styled specialty candy shop i would recommend a bag of candy you can hand pick the fancy chocolates are amazing too but typically out of most people price range (20$ per pound!)

There was such a wide variety of candies as well as hand-dipped chocolates. Along with gelatos to choose from. Will definitely go back again. It brings out the kid in you
