Miles to Adventure

I wanted a place to spend time with my son and found a place to feel at home for a few hours. The owner of the store will help you if you are new to playing rpgs. The themed room are really nice for parties. Thanks Terry!

Update: My son had his birthday party here! They went over and beyond to be helpful for us! We built new characters for new adventures.

The ONLY place to satisfy your tabletop gaming needs! Terry and his crew make sure that everyone walking through the door is welcome! If you're new to tabletop games, not just Dungeons & Dragons, the people there are more than happy to help and teach you how to play. The open Friday night games are perfect for the beginning adventurer.

It isn't a bright, shiny, new (sterile) game store you might find in a mall. Miles to Adventure is a local, people based game store where gaming is number one.

The focus of the store is tabletop games and gaming. Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Vampires, and other collectible card game players can find cards and friends here and space to play with convenient snacks and drinkage to keep the games going.

There's a tabletop games cabinet that the customer can tap into for the day for only a few bucks and test out before you buy or just play for the day with friends.

For role-playing gamers, there are multiple genre gaming products available. For the dungeon and dragon genre gaming, they have Pathfinder and Hasbro's d and d products from version 3.5 to 5.

For Western fans, they have products and regular gaming for Deadlands.

White Wolf gamers will find their favorite RPG products available as well as weekly gaming.

Miles to Adventure is more than just a gaming store. Approximately half the floor space displays their product, and the rest is community gaming space where their regular gaming goes on as well as community, home spun gaming.

The gaming tables have curtain partitions to give the players a semi-private gaming environment. If that's not sufficient, gamers can rent one of the private rooms in the back with thematic decor, including vampiric, science fiction, and forest themes.

(One caveat - they have a couple very friendly, affectionate dogs that love their customers. If you are allergic, let the employees know.)

Truly the most friendliest staff and customers around! Every time I walk in I'm greeted with the warmest welcome AND on top of it they're amazing with introductions to DnD and other table top games. If you're looking for a place with a great vibe and awesome folks this is the place!

10/10 great atmosphere, amazing and helpful staff. Definitely will be back next time we are in town. Might even use one of the game rooms to run a short campaign.

We were vacationing in the area and we’re always on the hunt for unique book stores. This place sells books, but of a particular genre, fantasy rpg and tabletop gaming. The owner greeted us in the most welcoming way when we entered and was more then accommodating to show us his shop, and how it works. If you are into this type of gaming, or are interested, I do believe he’d be more than pleased to accommodate you in your quest! He has several dedicated themed rooms which are outfitted with game table and chairs.

If I could give more stars I would. The staff is really nice welcome and eager to help. They have not only game session but FREE CLASS TO TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAY… don’t even get me started on how consider the owner my be to provide all the extra little things they do. I’ve never been more interest in playing d&d or anything else the offer. If you new to d&d or just interest come here. If you want to meet nice people come here.

This establishment is quite a bit extra. Knowledgeable employees and owner. A variety of RPG products. Ample gaming space. The atmosphere is spectacular.

It has become my go to place for all of my RPG needs. My only wish is that I could find more time to visit.

Awesome atmosphere, people there are friendly and fun. They had what I was looking for in dungeons and dragons and the snack machines had excellent choices too! Also, they are extremely friendly (read discounts) to law enforcement, military and teachers.

They spent the build character time help my son and myself build new characters, something I have not done in 20 years. This was a great experience for my son. Thank for your patience with us both.

The owner of the shop is very energetic and welcoming. By far, it is one of the best places to play role-playing games. Best Dm/ GM I've encountered so far.

It's a very fun place!! There is a whole lot to do here and the people are extremely friendly. Parking could be better, but not too bad.

Best atmosphere of any game store in the area. Nicest game rooms and a great room and game rental system (just booked my kid's birthday even). They also 3D print minis for a good price! Lots of local artist produced products too, like this handmade hat! (See picture.) If you just want to buy standard game supplies or cards other stores have more selection of a few things but if you want to spend time, play games, and soak up the atmosphere, Miles is absolutely the most well equiped in the area.

Great store, friendly people!! We stopped in on the way home to Ft. Worth, and I'm so glad we did. They have a great selection of 2e books in really good condition, and the dice selection is awesome!!! Great selection of RPGs overall. We will totally stop in again, as we come to this area several times a year. They were so welcoming and friendly.

Man... Terry is a seriously great guy. If you're into DnD and you're really dedicated, Terry will sit down with and walk you through every tiny little detail of your character with you on how to make it better, and really minmax the potential - all while still following your play style and character vision. He is extraordinarily forgiving on newer players, and cordial to veterans.

Terry and Anthony are a blast. (And so are all of the other staff I just don't know their names yet, but they're all just lovely people)

Great place, great environment (s!... With an S!), Great people, and great culture. This pace is honestly a nerds paradise.
