Just wanted to thank Vicky for being so kind. This restaurant was a special spot for me and my Step Father who passed a month ago. We came every October when I would come out for vacation to visit him for years. Today's visit, was exactly 1 year since the last time we were here together. We would sit on the patio, visit, catch up, enjoy the view, and mostly being with family. I miss him. Thank you to Vicky for letting me remember and honor him today. We visit every time we are in town. Great people and great food. We had oysters on the half shell and Bloody Mary's. Thank you, Mr. Buck and crew. We shall return. 😌

I'm so glad we chose this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Everything was cooked authentic and fresh. The gumbo was great, sweet Cole slaw, crispy fried soft shell crab, and the stuffed flounder is a whole flounder with really good crab stuffing. Our waitress was very sweet and provided excellent service.

I always eat here when I'm on the Gulf! Love the view and food and drinks are always delicious 😋! White Cap is my favorite spot to eat at on the Coast! Their service is always great👍! If you haven't been you must try! You won't be disappointed!

Two ladies traveling to the beach from Arkansas, decided to stop in at the White Cap restaurant,. Surprisingly it was the best food that we had eaten while in Gulfport enjoyed our waitress enjoyed the atmosphere and will definitely return five stars to our little waitress. Thank you very much. Stopped in for a bite. Seated quickly. Friendly staff. Barq's in a bottle! Delicious seafood gumbo. The raw oysters were big and very tasty. The broiled oysters were cooked and seasoned just right. Even the fried dills were a good balance of breading! Over all, 100%! Definitely recommend. I am glad I stopped back in on an old favorite visiting home. So worth it!

Country-fried steak with gravy and french fries. The gravy was delicious. the server was very nice tentative and kept the drinks full. The key lime pie is delicious.

We discovered this little place and all I have to say is. We loved it... Our waitress was very nice, the food was wonderful, & loved the view.
I had the oysters, my husband had the sea trout.
The atmosphere was nice and clean.
We will return the next time we are in town.

Three generations of exceptional seafood makes the White Cap one of the few remaining family restaurants left in South Mississippi. I had an oyster salad, a cold, cold brew and bread pudding. It was a memory lane moment since White Cap used to be one of my favorite lunch and dinner places back in the previous century. The oysters were cooked to perfection, lightly breaded and succulent. The bread pudding was full of raisins and was among the top three best ever. Even though the White Cap moved from its former location in Jones Park to a safer spot down the highway, their tradition of well seasoned, properly prepared seafood and friendly, prompt service has not changed.

By far this is one of the better places I have eaten in Long Beach Gulfport area. The food here is phenomenal great portion size very delicious tasty and the service here has been impeccable. I would highly recommend if you like seafood and catfish this is the place to go I was very pleased and impressed thank you it will definitely be returning.

Now have a new favorite. We come to coast for beach and food. The food was great and fair prices. Husband had red fish and I had seafood platter choose two (oysters and scallops). The Cole slaw and salad were a generous servings. Waitress went the extra to get me a bar drink. The view is beautiful.

OMG Ms Theresa I love her she was so amazing and she knew her stuff without a doubt. She was so sweet and she made our visit to Mississippi a great 1. I wish I could pack her up and bring her back to Atlanta. A raise she need and a new title

Another perfectly stunning sunshine 🌞 day. Again I had the delicious and fresh crab stuffed flounder. This year I had the fine sliced coleslaw with the flounder and butter parsley potatoes. The staff is working so hard and great. Thanks.

What a treat! Seafood was fresh and tasty. Decent prices. Wait staff was friendly. I ordered the seafood combo.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Can’t recommend it enough. I eat here a few times a year when I’m in town and it never disappoints! Servers are always friendly and helpful. Yuengling beers come out cold and with a smile. I always order the fried scallops—they are EXCELLENT! They come with a house salad as well, it’s delicious. Order it with their house remoulade dressing (I also order an extra side of it to dip my scallops in, YUM!) I have also had the shrimp poboy a few times, it’s very good!
