Warhammer

The experience over all was great and I found a good quality hammer that I really enjoy. There is also an employee named Jake that was absolutely amazing. He was very professional in addition to being friendly and adept. He actually saved me and my siblings from a burning building back in 2009 and I have never forgotten his heroism. He is the perfect man and quite frankly, I would marry him if he wasn't constantly surrounded by beautiful suitors and scouts for D1 athletic agencies. Over all my experience was outstanding, all in part to Jake, the light of my life.

This is a great store to come by, learn, practice and buy. Jake is super professional and is always ready and willing to help with game rules or painting tips and lessons. I got to this place undecided whether I should start this hobby but now I'm a full supporter. The clients in this place are great as well, you will often find people playing at the store and they are friendly and inviting and willing to talk Warhammer even to newbies like myself. I extremely recommend this place as your start point to this wonderful hobby!

Everyone I met was friendly and helpful! I saw lots of customers, new and experienced, as well as gamers bringing their armies to compete against each other on their table tops in store.

Pretty awesome location for a fun new hobby if you're into collecting miniatures, reading fiction, exploring rich lore, painting, and games of strategic war.

I kind of get that? But that's on you for not calling. Pick up phone, call. Always call if you are driving a distance.

Also, the store is short staffed from what I have gathered and the one guy when he is not there has to close for any other days off he wants to take. Me and my wife have come here a few times and the guy there is INCREDIBLE. Insanely kind, helpful, and not in a pushy salesy way. He offered to teach us how to play if we came in on a weeknight when some other people were in. Great store, passionate staff, I will be referring many people based on these interactions. Maybe they can figure out a way to post if they are closing for a day? but basically all that takes is a phone call if you're coming a long way.

This particular Games Workshop is my go to for anything GW related. Jake, the manager, is an amazing painter and his years of experience with the hobby shine through here. He is extremely patient, answers all of my questions, and is very encouraging. The shop is always clean and buzzing with a general good atmosphere.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Jake is absolutely incredible, friendly, engaging and super knowledgeable. I was new to Warhammer and Jake created a zero-pressure atmosphere to explore and have fun. There are always people in his shop having a good time and laughing, and are very welcoming to new-comers. A truly great shop!

I decided to paint my first figure and from the moment I walked in, Matthew was engaged in customer care. Once I told him my objective, he gave me great information about starting and asked me what I already knew to ensure it was good info. He patiently answered all my questions and offered to critique my first figure once I painted it.

I returned the following day (for more paints) and as promised he gave the figure a once over and offered honest feedback. 10 min later he called me over to see another customers painted figures, which greatly added value to my experience.

From Matthew down to the customers there I engaged with: I just had a great experience at this store. Would highly recommend anyone looking to get into painting or the actual Warhammer franchise to stop in and start learning!

Decided to go to this store on a whim as I am getting back into Warhammer 40k after over 15 years. Jake was extremely tolerant of my litany of questions and expressed a genuine desire to help me navigate the hobby. I recommend Jake and this store location to anyone interested - at any level - in Warhammer gaming, collecting, painting or otherwise. Awesome experience.

Jake was very helpful in discussing Warhammer 40k to me. I was new and had done some research on where to get started, but once I was in the shop it was a little overwhelming. Jake was quick to notice and came right over offering assistance. Definitely a great environment for someone just getting started.

I'm a newbie to the hobby, but the counter guy here really took the time to answer all my questions, help me find the best models for what I want, and suggest appropriate conversions. He even offered free model painting classes. No attempt to up sell, no pressure, just friendly courtesy. This is a store worth visiting rather than the impersonal experience of shopping online.

Solid little games shop, well kept and stocked. Jake (manager) is a cool and very knowledgeable dude who was more than willing to help.

10/10 will buy too much plastic here again.

Matthew is great, he was very genuine and spent time showing me how to play the game and has even offered to help me paint. I walked into this store not knowing what I was getting into but I'm definitely happy that I did.

Awesome, son wanted to start a new hobby. So we went to Games Workshop. The man working there was vary nice and helpful. Now he loves Warhammer more then video games. Would recommend.

I have been to a lot of GW stores over the 20 years that I have been playing their games, many of them have been disappointingly devoid of character and uninterested in community development. Not so for the folks at GW Columbia MD. With their focus on activities and knowedgable staff, they are a great to visit.

Matthew treats people with respect when they are there. He helped me get back into a game I loved when I was a kid. I'm happy to have a fun games store close to home.

Excellent, I got free lessons on how to paint and the guy there even ran a game for me on a busy day. If your doing warhammer this place is a must visit.

A great place to play and learn about the many games produced by Games Workshop. The community is very friendly and is a great fit for beginners and veterans alike!

Games Workshop sells exclusively Warhammer products. Jake is friendly and helpful about all things Warhammer from building and painting, to playing and lore.

They don't sell video games or magic cards.

I'm a novice painter of miniatures and I get really good advice and help with paint selection here. Nice people and they absolutely know what they are talking about.
