Black Rose Liquor- Parkrose

Super Friendly staff! OK selection. My local liquor store.

Google only THINKS I was there but actually I was in a neighboring building, but they invited me to review so here it is.

They looked busy AF. It was a constant stream of people going in and out and i never saw any one customer spend more than 8-10 minutes inside. I think that says something. The customers were diverse and everyone exiting seemed to have normal "I was just in the liquor store" face.

Edit: I wrote this review 2 years ago and they just replied today with some snark about not being open on Sundays. I'll leave the 5 stars cause I still never even been to this store. 1/14/24

I love this lil liquor store. The ladies working the register are my kind of ladies. They don't take no guff from no one but still manage to be gracious and kind to each and everyone of their customers.

Two lady’s behind the counter are always friendly with a little bit of sass. Makes it personable and fun to walk in there.

Well being as I have known the owner 400, I don't know 25 years. Course one great guy good store owner. Always suppose you're going in and dealing with him. Or one of the other two friendly staff that he has there. Great place great neighborhood liquor store to go into perfect service in perfect people in there

They saved our move! They give away their boxes to interested individuals (I found them via Craigslist). They gave us so many, many boxes - we didn't have to buy a single box for our last move! Very nice people.

The gals here are just wonderful! One of them is Annette. In order for me to remember it, I used an old trick of associating it with something so I could easily recall her name.

I said, "Oh, like Annette Funicello" and she laughed and said yes.

Now, I have no difficulty remembering her name! I'm finding that I really enjoy getting to know people, so it's always a pleasure when people reciprocate. The lady's here are just terrific.

It's a smaller store, but they still have a great selection of liquors as well as mixers.

This staff at this small liquor store always have a smile and a friendly word. There are samples occasionally and plenty of variety of choice in products. It's my neighborhood liquor store and I appreciate having them around.

They had a new lady there today, she is kind and funny just like the other ladies. I like coming here just to see them. 🤩

Very helpful. Not a drinker and needed good stuff for gifting mixed drink kits. He gave me very good recommendations and the gifts were a hit! Thank you!

Only complaint: the coffee stand and 711 make it a bit difficult to park at times.
Other than that these guys are great.

The only place I can always find the only vodka I like. Western Sons. Nice employees. Location feels a bit less than desirable but its a great place.

They are clean with a large selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place.

People super friendly there the 2 girls awesome tall dark Lady and of course the lady with the black hair characters I tell you. Great place to go.
