The craziest thing happened. I called the store to inquire about a fishing pole. There was a stated qty of 1 on the website. My experience with most stores these days has been to call, speak with someone who puts you on hold for an hour, then transfer you to someone else and say we don't have it. When I called I was transferred to Chris. He told me its not his department but he was going to walk to the fishing dept. and take a look. He then explained that he was not going to put me on hold. Rather, he would leave the phone of the hook on his desk while he went back and checked so my call was not accidentally transferred or disconnected. He came back and said, "We have it". "It will be at the front counter when you come to pick it up". I got in my car, went to the Huntington NY store and low and behold there was a rod waiting for me. The five stars by the way are for Chris. I'm not sure others would have put in the extra effort. Thanx Chris. It rained today so I won't be fishing but I will be back for new gear.

Went in to buy sneakers for my teen. It was pretty busy with only 2 young men assisting customers. They both helped us, we decided to buy 2 pairs. They were helpful & courteous.
Also, the young man named James at the register was very courteous as well.
We will definitely come back to this location to shop again. :)

I placed an online order for a swim cap, and set a pick-up time of 9:00am on a Sunday. I was in desperate need of a quick replacement before my lifeguard training. The staff was so helpful, efficient, and courteous! Thank you :)

Got a new lid for my Yeti 20 oz tumbler. Only store in area with one. Nice store. Clean, and I'll be going back when I have more time.

Best store for all outdoor and indoor activities. All rows and shelves are nicely stocked and marked. Prices are reasonable. Staff is helpful and welcoming. They following the social distance requirements.
Golf club griping while you wait and service is quick with $3.99 service charges per club.

Walked in to return an online order yesterday. So many people available for questions! Ken helped me find a different size and he was so helpful/responsive to information I received online about my order! Good selection, great location (especially in comparison to garden city location).

Huge selection and it's awesome that it's next to several great shops.

Jamie was AMAZING. She was so helpful with helping me find everything I needed and also giving me suggestions based off what I needed. She also was a pleasure to chat with. Not only that but I accidentally sliced myself in the fitting room (totally my fault, I’m clumsy) and she rushed to my aid haha! I probably asked this poor girl for help a million times and each time she happily assisted me. Darryl was also so kind and patient at checkout when I realized I grabbed the wrong thing and couldn’t decide between a couple items. He told me to “treat myself” and gave me fabulous fashion advice. The team there is amazing and I’m always greater and asked if I need help.

Great people who work there and a good variety of products, but I'm slightly biased, I work there.

The staff here are pretty welcoming and the store is massive. I come here to go to the Field and Stream portion of the store and they always had everything I needed. It is almost never crowded and they have a massive stock of things. Never had any issues here.

They have a large inventory of everything sporting, gear and equipment, at going market rates. Store is always neat, well stocked, and organized. Sales help is good. Checkout also good with ample counters usually open.

My kid loves exploring in this place, he is 3. We were greeted at the door and asked if we needed help by various employees thtoughout the store. Not the largest selection in warehouse work boots which is why I was there but found exactley what I needed.

Better selection here than at roosevelt field . The gun selection is a little small in terms of what they have in stock but you can find something to fit your needs here . Prices on ammo and clay pidgins are comparable as well.

Their gun department is great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and even tried saving me money by offering me a less expensive version of what I was looking for. I'll definitely be back.

Have had nothing but great experiences at this store. It rivals Cabela's and I love Cabela's. Long lines are everywhere in other stores, that is no reason to not shop here.

Ken in fishing and tackle provided complete customer service. He helped me find the perfect gift for my husband. It’s a new Shimano top of the line reel and a special fishing set for my grandson to fish with his Grandpa. I couldn’t wait to give my husband the gift and know in the future where to go.
