We always love the birthday cakes from the bakery at this Safeway. Cathy is a great baker and she always does a great job in creating best looking and best tasting cakes for our kids birthdays.

Clean, stocked decently, no great wait, smooth cart, no sanitizing wipes stocked...UH-OH!, delightful cashier, great CS man, clean parking lot, expensive.

There were about 4 different female employees who walked right past me and focused strictly on their mission of being invisible, therefore winning golden unwelcoming awards.

One guy in seafood who responded most joyfully as I walked by, smiled, and said hello...he returned the latter two.

I've been here now a few times and it's always the same. Great but kind of pricey, clean as a whistle, stocked well-enough, stellar checkout employees and CS...and always one veey friendly person when I say hello, and everyone else...people I always wonder how they got a job working with the public! All-in-all, take the invisible people out of the picture and it's a really great place!

Really appreciate help from Terry. My prescription was not available at this store, she put her best effort to find at what other store, it might be available and transferred the prescription to that store. Thanks, Terry, for your help!

Carl P. did a great job when he packaged my groceries! I had both a large bottle of lemon juice and a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar Unfiltered. Usually these two items create a problem, since they fall over and smash other items. Carl P. is a great problem solver! He laid the bottles down in the bottom of the bag. It was so easy to load into my car I almost thought something had been left out!
Being a very senior lady all bags of groceries are difficult for me. This bag was so easy to handle as I carried it up the stairs to my back door. I was very surprised when I saw the bottles laying in the bottom of the bag. So easy to carry. Carl P. Thank you! I will drive the extra miles to shop your store! You truly know how to make a shopping experience a delight! Young man, teach the rest of the clerks how to package groceries! I give you⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

I live very close to this store. It is simply the closest grocery store to my house. I like the people in that store. Always friendly. The produce is fresh, and the dairy is always plentiful. I also like the variety and brands they carry.

I would like to highly recommend the bakery department at Kirkland Safeway, especially the very professional and talented cake specialist Samira. She was able to make and decorate such a delicious cake for my daughter’s birthday. This cake not only fulfilled all of our expectations, but went above and beyond it!

Truly Safeway has always been a great place to buy fresh food. Customer service is great and make sure when you enter your rewards card number that it has been accepted or approved, so that you get that discount and points. The points are great for gas purchases. They have saved me multiple times from running out of gas.

The Pharmacy staff is the BEST! They are friendly, courteous, on top of the televangelist for refills and new prescriptions. The pharmacists are quick and thorough when administering vaccinations.

My go to Safeway. Very clean, always has stock of what I need, quick pharmacy and friendly staff. The fuel station is good as well, if there ever is a problem with a pump it is fixed the next day.

I'm not usually the type of person who reviews grocery stores. Let's just clear that up right now.

So, it says a lot that I'm taking the time to do this. We've lived near this Safeway for about a year now, and it's seriously the best one I have ever been to.

And I've been to Safeways all up and down the WA coast!

What sets this one apart is the people. I've seen portions of the staff turn over a couple times, but I have NEVER had a bad experience.

Today, a gentlemen assisted me at the liquor cabinet as he was finishing up his shift. Turned out what I wanted wasn't even locked up; I could've grabbed it on a different aisle myself.

This fellow not only showed me; he looked at the photo on my phone and dug allllll the way to the back of the shelf to find the last bottle of what I wanted. Did I mention this was at the end of his shift?!

I've been to grocery stores where I can't get that kind of service from people who are clocked-in!

But this is just one example. Over this past year, every single produce clerk... butcher... cashier... self-checkout cashier... deli worker... I swear, every SINGLE one of them has been nothing but wonderful to me.

And this is all during the pandemic, when labor issues are at an all-time high.

Finally, you can't beat the selection here. I LOVE how well-rounded this Safeway is. You need anything kosher? They have it. Corn husks to make tamales? Yep.

Thai basil? Always.

Sushi rice? You know it.

Coconut milk? Endless options.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE not having to hit 3 freakin' stores anymore, and I adore how genuinely wonderful all the employees are.

To be honest, I haven't left a review before now because a. I don't review grocery stores and b. I don't want to spill the beans on my favorite, never-overcrowded grocery store.

But today, for whatever reason, finally tipped the scale. 5 stars!!!

It's Safeway, what do you expect? Yes it has a different location for goods, just like every Safeway. People in this area like the Pinot Grigio boxed wine, Safeway is almost always out. The self-check is a decent config and the atypical cheese selection is pretty freaking good, like butter on a Poptart good.

This particular Safeway has a great deli selection and at moderate prices. A very nice employee by the name of Dave fixed me up with a great deal for half price because they were closing soon. I have been back here several times to get a quick bite for lunch or dinner. Always a great selection to choose from. 🥡🍤🍡🥠

I read the negative reviews, and will say that their hot case food isn't great, but every other spec of the store is on point. The staff is always very friendly and willing to help, the store is always neat and clean, and they deliver now. Free if you get $30+ worth of food and select a 4 hour delivery window. Used delivery a handful of times now, and they are never late, and always friendly. It's my favorite grocery store.

They use plastic bags and I'm soooo happy they do as they don't rip apart and spill groceries all over. Super professional employees, clean and well organized isles. It was a joy to shop there after being to Grocery Outlet where they totally messed up and made my milk fall to the floor and spill all over.

This Safeway is a great place to shop for food. There is a nice Starbucks inside that I take advantage of. The shelves are stocked well with enough variety for most things. Like all Safeway's, this one is clean and operates efficiently.

Yum! $52.00 Sushi cause I hit the self serve checkout for $40.00 cash back and walked right out without grabbing my cash...UGH! Called the store, they were super nice and helpful...No $40.00 was found.UGH! UgH!

Instacart brings Safeway closer to your home, now..more than ever? Staff on hand to ready your cart before the drivers even show up. Do you know, other places, the driver does it all!!

This particular store is always clean and shelves are stocked. Nice, professional crew.

Safeway survived the grocery store wars. They still have a great customer centric business model. I love shopping at Safeway for all my needs. Just for U is another example of the customer centric focus.

Great customer service, friendly staff, everyone seems to know the store and where everything is. When its busy and a lane is full of people they are fast to open up another lane. Love my local Safeway!
