Star Market

It's a good store with nice workers who are just trying to make a living. I go here and Shaw's often. I can't pull myself together to go into that jungle of a store called market basket where the customers have no respect for other shoppers and the store is always a crowded nightmare. I don't think the problem is with the employees here, I think it's the customers who act like they are above society, which is something I've noticed when I moved to Lexington/ waltham area, with all the waspy people, entitled people and rich karens. As for the guy named Dee, I guarantee you you will find rotten fruit and expired food at Hannaford and market basket as well. Maybe you should get a job in retail and fix the problem yourself, instead of complaining about it every two weeks or just plain shop somewhere else

One of the few stores where I can get fresh refrigerated dog food, I can't find it at Hannaford or market basket. The sandwhich section is pretty good. The young man in the deli named Austin was very helpful and was very accurate with how I wanted my order. I like when the cheese is stacked evenly side by side instead of a huge block.

Love the staff here. It's usually never that busy and if you only have one person in front of you it's even more rare than no line.

Almost an upscale store due to amazing staff, products and cleanliness. Also they have boars head deli meats where Shaws doesn't

I am always shop here now that I have moved to Waltham. It's a clean and always has everything stock 95% of the time. Employees are always friendly..

Great place to shop. The neat and produce are second to none. The hot foods bar are always full and fresh. I judge a supermarket on the perishables department and this Star takes second to no place in that area. Friendly service and they just added 4 brand new self check outside which spread the process. Check it out

I love this market, over and above the convenience of it being close to my home. The manager and employees are friendly and helpful.....they go out of their way to help and ask ......the store is clean....for the most part the prices are competitive....some things I can get less expensively elsewhere, and elsewhere is not to far either....the fresh fish and seafood is always fresh and much variety....I have a lot of out of town company and need seafood and fish in season.....something my guests hope for in Boston!!.....In 2 1/2 years I've never had a bad seafood or fish order at this market.......the produce is always fresh and the fruit competitive price wise....

This is my favorite place to shop. They are always super clean, have a wide variety of different foods and their produce is fresh..which is very important to me. If they don't have something you want or need, they will order it for you or give suggestions to help you find the item your searching for. The customer service is wonderful. They go out of their way to help out with anything you may need while shopping. Last thing, they get shoppers right through the lines & out the doors. I've never had to wait long even during holiday seasons. I won't shop anywhere else..A+ for them.

This store is extremely organized and has really fresh flowers. Not cheap but easy in and out and they have a wonderful selection of items.

STAR in Waltham, Lexington is a wonderful store. I try to get there even if its not local to me. The most fabulous artichokes I have ever seen. Most of the vegetables and fruits are very good. Lots of ethnic foods.

Godiva ice cream is yummy. Panera dressings are delish. Lovely flower display.

Open late, which is helpful, the meat was a little scarce. I don't usually go here for my grocery shopping, but needed a few things and was glad for the late hours

Roberta, the manager, provided the BEST customer service I have EVER had at a grocery store. I had an issue with an order and she went above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed. Thank you!

Everyone here was veey nice especially at the deli & register. The subs that were made for my eldeely client he ordered was very fresh & abundant.Friendly service and just wish groceries stores like this had half the already made hot or cold food selection as star mkt had .Wish there was one in the Attle area cause there salad bar and just making fresh subs to order plus alot of already made hot food like turkey dinner looked great!

This place has good prices on most of their items. Be sure to look for the sales. I used their produce section and my lettuce had lots of sand in it. The deli was very nice and had decent prices and selection.

Great place. Lots of parking. Premium prices. Good quality items. Lots of options. Friendly staff.

Full size supermarket. A very large selection of produce. It was a short wait in the checkout line. Plenty of parking but the parking spaces are tiny.

If this is the place in Waltham then OMG this has got to be the oldest picture that I can ever tell you that I've seen in a really long time because I can tell you some pictures amazing but this is what it looks like when I was a teenager growing up just a fun fact is a lot of professional sports players that live in the area and every time I went to that Supermarket I always ran into either a Celtic Red Sox or Bruins player for some reason I can tell you the last time I was there I met Anton Walker at the service desk no word of a lie it's a lot of luxury condos in that area

Great supermarket with lots of food to choose from!

Very clean, had everything I was looking for and at good prices. Wish our grocery stores were this well run.
