The last of its kind in Delaware. Terrific inventory and great atmosphere. Far better experience than online. Highly recommended. I build museum quality dioramas and most of my supplies and tools were purchased from this store.

Awesome train stuff. Good selection of anything you might be looking for. Prices are reasonable too.

I frequent this hobby/train store for literally everything. Nice amount of military model kits in most scales, with good paint and glue selection. They have a great rolling stock selection, with good deals if you buy a few train cars at once. Nice selection of locomotives. (My layout is HO scale so that's all I really notice.) The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk with for hobbyists of any level. This is a great small hobby/train shop.

Haven,t visited often, yet, but very knowledgeable about trains. Going back soon.

Terrific hobby store in the classic style of the old neighborhood hobby store. This place is a treasure you cannot find anymore.

Doug and friends are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel like family just chatting. My son and I had a wonderful rainy afternoon this past Saturday exploring and poking through the stacks of amazing goodies in the store. This is exactly the kind of experience that I remember from my childhood that I wanted my son to have. He ditched electronics the rest of the weekend for the model kits we chose. Great prices! From trains, to aircraft/ship/monster/car models, toys, and science kits they have it all. A deep hobby and mil-history books and magazines selection is in the back corner of the store and very well priced. Marvelous large oversize photo books of trains and military equipment that are a pleasure to hold and peruse. Take that Kindles. Museum quality dioramas and models on display that fire up your kids creativity spark. To sum up, you will find it impossible to leave the store not buying something unique you will come across. Doug and his friendly staffs personal service and attention really bring home the difference between brick and mortar stores, and the soulless for profit mercenary that is e-commerce. They will have my business over the internet every time because of that. Well done gentlemen, and my son and I look forward to seeing you guys again soon!

Great place, great staff. Has got lots of stock in all scales, great variety of books and magazines plus lots of the ones you missed, plastic model kits and lots of used bargains - plenty to keep the serious modeller busy :-). If brass is your thing come here!

I went in last minute on Christmas Eve to get assorted parts for an old toy train. The staff was friendly and helpful and got me set up with exactly what I needed to get my train set up and running in time for Christmas morning! Great shop, will be counting on them for my future hobby needs!

Stopped in to see their selection of HO scale items. Doug and his coworker helped me with all my questions that I had and was very friendly. Was very impressed and will gladly return!

The best hidden hobby store around Wilmington. Prices are great, but the personal service the staff gives you is by far the best part of the experience. Heading there now to get more stuff!

Good selection of model train and kits and supplies. Great prices and service. If Doug doesn’t have it, he’ll get it for you quickly.

A great place to shop for older H.O. train parts , models , paints , glue , tools . Do not forget , rocketry , wood and tools for those custom builds . Get your Model Masters , and Testors paints before they are gone forever . A great mix of colors for those 50's and 60's cars and trucks for true reproduction of your model kit . Do not leave out military models .

I have only great things to say about this store. Well stocked and great service. They also repair locomotives as well. I have had two locomotives repaired and the service was great. Awesome place that my son and I will enjoy for years to come. Thanks guys.

The staff her go out of their way to help their customers. They actually work with you to get you exactly what you are looking for instead of trying to pushing you to buy what is already in the store. Very helpful and very friendly.

A great hobby shop, I am mostly interested in fine scale military models and this store comes through in spades, good prices and a great staff.

Nice guys there that run the shop. Also, pretty knowledgeable about different hobbies. I bought two scale model cars for me and my son.
