Tested my mom's battery in the parking lot and when it was toast they replaced it for her. They were quick and knew what they were doing. Also were able to test/diagnose an alternator issue for her. I have been going there for years and always felt the service was great.

I came to the store for a simple code read on my check engine light. Store employee Kyle provided this, informing me fully of the code. I thought that was all I needed, but in a strange turn of events my car battery seemed to die right there in the parking lot. I went back inside to ask for help. Kyle came out and saw me try to start the car, popped the hood to check for issues, and then offered to try jumping the car. That didn’t work, so he offered to test the battery. We found it was dead, so I asked if the store had a replacement battery in stock. We checked and found a battery, which I bought and Kyle worked hard to install outside in cold, windy conditions. We got the car started and I was able to get back on the road. While buying a new battery was unexpected, I am incredibly grateful to Kyle and the Advance Auto Walker store for helping me out of what would have been a very tough situation, as I rely on having a vehicle for getting to and from my job! Keep up the great work and great service. I will be a returning customer guaranteed if I have any future auto needs the store can help with. Thank you!

My husband and I had car issues that needed immediate attention before driving across the state. We couldn't find a service center that would squeeze us in. Alyssa, the manager, put a bright spot in our day with her understanding and support to make the repair we needed.

I went in to Advance Auto on Lake Michigan Dr in Walker, MI tonight to replace a battery in my car. Ethan went above and beyond, not only to replace my battery (which was a task in itself due to the car), but also to look at some other issues I was having and help me out. He explained everything he was doing, explained what he saw that shouldn’t be happening to my car and he was so courteous. He was very professional and honest. After replacing my battery, due to other issues my car was presenting, he stayed outside with me while I started my car and told me he wasn’t going to be okay with letting me drive away if it was still doing some of the other things. Thankfully, the battery helped a lot. But I truly appreciated his concern for my well being and the fact that he cared enough about a customer to make sure I was safe. This is the first time I’ve purchased anything from them, but it will not be the last. Based on the customer service I received today, I will be a returning customer for life and will refer all friends and family to them. Thank you, Ethan! You were a great help!

Thank you to the two gentlemen that were working today 4/25/2021 day shift. I came in because I had to buy some tools to get my daughter's bike fixed and ready for their birthday party. These two went above and beyond the line of duty! They said just bring it in and they will help fix it up. 10 minutes later they had it up and running. Thank you to those young men! They saved me when they could of just sold me the tools. That is customer service!! You have definitely bought my business!! I would refer anyone to this business.

Excellent customer service from all employees, especially Chris! This location is fantastic and is always the first place I look when I need parts or supplies. If you're a Grand Valley student, don't forget to bring your ID and ask for the student discount! I would highly recommend this Advance Auto location, even if it's out of your way.

Quick, easy and friendly service. I was able to find what I needed online and make the purchase and pick it up a short while later. It was very convenient.

And it solved my issue. (Power steering fluid was low).

Second trip here. First one was for some replacement bulbs. They had what I needed in stock and I was happy. Second trip was for windshield wipers. I ordered them online and did store pickup as I utilized some stellar coupons. They also had what I needed in stock and I was pleased as my Mercedes-Benz has odd sized blades. Upon arrival two gentlemen helped install them on my car. It took a bit of finnagling but they got them on in no time and I was on my way. Highly recommend. Convenient, friendly and they also have a slightly extended open time on Sundays.

These guys are amazing. When I went there they had almost everything I needed in stock and the things they didn't were there within 24 hours. These guys did their best to help me in every single way that they could and it made the entire process so much easier. If you need anything car related come here

This is my go-to parts store! Staff are always pleasant and helpful, and it seems like most every time I stop I get some sort of sale or discount or special, which is always welcome! They stand behind their stuff.

They couldn't install my battery because I was under the back seat. So, they have me find a place that could and made sure I got a good price in the new battery.

You're car is squealing. You have a little money, and the internet has a million diagnosis for that one sound. Who do you go to. I've been going to this advance auto parts. My tie rods, sway bar, and power steering pump were going out. They helped me diagnose the issues and prioritize the repairs with my funds. Great team at this location.

Clerk threw a new battery in for me in minutes. Very helpful in this freezing weather. Other team member also offered to help him!
