Heights Fresh Market

This is the ONLY place where my mom and I will buy meat, the meat here (beef, chicken, fish, pork) is THE BEST quality. We drive 30+ minutes to come here to buy our groceries and we absolutely LOVE how sweet the employees are.

HOWEVER, this is the 2nd time we've purchased moldy, mushy, bruised strawberries. It isn't until you take them out of the container, especially when you get home that you see how bad they are. In the container in the store they look perfectly fine, but, when I took the strawberries out to wash and cut up this is what I see (picture) I expect better from a place called "FRESH MARKET" especially since their meat products never give us problems.

Love their tamales and barbacoa! In the summertime, their carne asada meat is fresh! Mexican estaurant next door is a plus! Good prices sometimes.

They always have new items. Today we found Nato Pudding

Delicious chocolate covered marshmallows, tamales, and gorditas.

Had what I needed, chips hot sauce ceviche jarritos. The ceviche was really really good.

Prices are a bit high but this is where you can get FRESH meat. Cashiers are always nice too. They have really good bakery items. Chocolate filled churros are the best! They also have chicken and pork tamales 🫔 taste delicious! Parking lot is spacious but a bit of a hassle during busy hours.

Very busy today! Everything clean and well stocked. Love the variety. Tamales awesome! T bones cheaper here than Jewel on sale. Only thing I didn't like was the cashier was messing with her phone as I checked out.

Chicago Heights fresh market is a Mexican own store, the prices are reasonable. the homemade food is pretty good, like the tamales and other homemade stuff as well like carnita.

The tamales are absolutely delicious. Fresh and hot, I love the chicken. Price is reasonable. Employees are friendly and welcoming. My mexican next door neighbor told me about this place I'm so grateful

This is what you want! I'm telling you they have the best meats you have ever seen. I've lived in three states and over 50+ yr old black woman who loves to cook healthy soul food. Even though it's mostly Hispanics I get what I need and some. Truly a pleasant delight.

A Mexican grocery store, large variety of herbs, veggies,& fruit. Nice meat department& they have hot food along with many salsas to choose from.

The service is great at the meat counter. They keep fresh foods & produce everyday. But sometime the cashiers are slow & rude to the black customers. Don't expect them to speak everytime you get to the register.

All one of my favorite places to shop when I'm in the neighborhood they truly are the fresh market all their produce and their meats have been exceptional quality I will come all the way from where I live which is about 20 miles away just to shop there if it's in my budget. And they're cooked food is even better
