Half-Moon Outfitters

9/9/22 Stopped in to pickup the race packet for the Half-Moon Outfitters Moonshiner 5K Night Trail Race.
Bought some Patagonia women's Capilene thermal baselayers bottoms; Freefly pants; & Bamboo Flex pocket tees. I found a variety of styles, colors and sizes to fit up to a 2 XL. Very pleased with the staff members who greeted me when I arrived and directed me to the items I was interested in buying. Staff member Asher was very helpful and friendly. If you're a fan of outdoor activities you'll want to come here.

The prices were a bit high but the service and experience at Half Moon are top notch and they have all the top outdoor brands.

We stopped in here to burn some time. I hadn't been to this location yet so I was excited to see the new setup. It was wonderfully laid out and everything was easy to both see and get to. They have some items that you really dont see many other places. Also a coffee shop inside too! I picked up some of my favorite field notes here in a pattern, which you can't get anywhere but online. We will definitely be back.

Unbelievable customer service. Will went to bat with the manufacturer of my defective boots and got me credit for a new pair. Asher was also very helpful in picking out my new ones. Can’t thank those guys enough!

Great products in a really cool atmosphere. The owner of this business really gets it. First and foremost he is a very nice and honest person. He is always striving to improve the customer experience. This is evidenced by the addition of creature comforts like the coffee bar, barber shop, and brewery all in the same building. A+ for this really cool store.

I had received a pair of pants from my children for Christmas. Blake made several attempts to secure the size I needed, but unfortunately the manufacturer had run out for the year and would not be restocking until fall. I explained to her that I really liked them and hoped that they would get them back in...she followed up with the rep twice until she received confirmation that she could order for me for upcoming shipment. Called today to confirm. Rarely see this level of dedication or customer service...Blake is a great asset and was awesome! THANK YOU BLAKE!

This store is dangerous for adventurers because they sell a wide range of products at fair prices and offer great help! I stopped in and ended up looking at boots, so they let me borrow hiking socks for fit. They also offer cute (free!) stickers by the register. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

Great staff at the Greenville Location. I called prior to visiting and the sales woman that answered the phone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I went to the store later that day the sales gentleman were again very helpful courteous and the whole experience was stellar! This was my second great experience with this store and their outstanding people!

This place is amazing!! Will was extremely helpful and we didn't feel pressured into purchasing at all. I should start by saying that I live an hour away and found half Moon outfitters looking for a place to rent a Onewheel. We were looking to rent a pint and an XR so we could decide which one we want if we want to buy one. They rent out the boards and subtract the cost of the rental from your Onewheel, if you buy one from them after your rental. We rented both boards for 24 hours, tried them in all sorts of environments, had the time of our life, and chose which board fit us best. I got the pint. My buddy is getting the XR. Do yourself a favor and rent a Onewheel

When someone takes time out to share and listen, THIS makes for long lasting relationships and SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS. I had the pleasure of being served and MENTORED by RYAN. Not only does he have great taste in eyewear and a killer smile, but he is also a local guru when it comes to rock climbing. He schooled this FORTYTEEN-year-old about shoes, harnesses and caribeeners (oops...spelling?). I'm all fired up and ready to climb one step and push at a time. I adventure d out to Climb at Blue Ridge yesterday and received the warmest of welcomes, now I have gear. Ryan is specially ordering my shoes as they did not have my size in stock. I can't wait to come back and get a pair for my 7yo nephew so that we can climb together at Blue Ridge or Project Rock in Easley. Ryan, a million thanks for your time, attention, SMILE, expertise and education. You are great man. Yeah, I said it.

Great selection of shoes for various purposes... I am planning a kayak purchase from them even though i live 6 hour s away. Kind staff makes a difference...

Bought winter shoes from L.L. Bean (returned), then bought shoes from Land's End (returned). Argh!

I then bought Keen's from the Half-Moon Outfitters on-line store and they are wonderful. Exactly what I needed and $20 less than the competition. Thank You Candy from Store #6.

I needed to go shopping for some bags and gear for a trip I was taking. I was very pleased with the prices of the items I purchased, the variety that I found, and the help that I received. I went here after looking at REI and a few other outfitter stores. This place was the most helpful by far.

This place is EXPENSIVE, but you are paying for quality. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They have a decent selection of everything you could need for the outdoors. Highly recommend.
