Pet Supplies Plus Portland

I just love going into both the Portland and Windham locations. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I was looking for new food for my dog, and the groomer actually took a minute (no dog on her table) and talked with me about why I wanted to change. She educated me about different food and what would be best for the digestive issue my pup is having.

It’s my new favorite pet store for supplies and grooming. My shy little Betty White terrier has had two grooming appointments and looks great and comes out happy!

The team at Pet Supplies plus have been lifesavers since we got our new puppy. They are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and nice to our pup… and me! When I was there this weekend they also helped connect me to the best deals. I left the store with such gratitude for them.

I was nervous when the former store told me they were changing ownership. They always had safer options than many other stores. I stopped the other day and I was delighted to see all the healthy inventory! My dog’s food was on clearance and Pet Supplies has been generous with coupons and discounts. I got tremendous value and they had everything I needed. I will definitely be back!

I continue to be delighted that Pet Supplies Plus took over the former Loyal Companion location. Not only did they save our local pet store(s - including SoPo!), but they kept the friendly neighborhood feel of it and the staff are THE BEST, most friendly folks you'll ever meet. I've had many random, wonderful conversations with them. Also I love love love the new eco-friendly cardboard 6-pack holders for cans of wet food, that was a completely genius idea! I tend to plan for my stops here to be more of a lazy shopping trip rather than a targeted in-and-out stop because I can always find something on sale, there always seem to be great deals around the store (just needs a bit of browsing time).

Pro tip: if you're on Instagram, definitely follow the Pet Supplies Plus account - they post discount codes almost every week. (Also the Black Friday sales are insane!)

This is the best pet store and I very, very rarely go anywhere else, even though the other pet stores nearby are good too. The staff here is so friendly, helpful and eductated on products and helped me choose a dog food for my puppy with a sensitive stomach. The selection of products is very diverse and plentiful, and they've offered at least twice to order specific products for me. I really love this pet store. Thank you, staff!

I love the crew at the store. They have been through some many changes on ownership over the years! Yet, they stay and continue to serve the community. Love Sarah and Sam! Always so helpful.

I shop at this store ALL the time. The staff is GREAT!! I also have my two dogs groomed here. Sam is the best. One of my dogs is shy, and Sam takes her time with him. They always look and smell great when I pick them up too. Thanks SAM!!!

I love this store. I haven known the staff there forever. The staff have hung in there despite multiple turnovers over many years. I'm so grateful. They are knowledgeable, want to help you, love answering your questions, love to see your pets. I do wish they would return to sponsoring ARLGP cats for adoption, maybe this company will allow it.

The people who work here are very knowledgable and friendly and always happy to help with anything. It's my go to store for everything pets because of the service and even during their current transition, it's still a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by friendly personnel.
