Safeway

Their flowers are awesome. A huge supply of so many kinds, colors, varieties. They are fresh and long lasting. They have cut flowers and flowering plants!,;

So happy to find this Safeway!!!! I’m from California where they’re everywhere. Here in Virginia they’re kind of scarce, and this one is amazing. Everyone on staff is super polite and friendly, they were attentive without being annoying (aka following around to help). I found everything I’ve come to know Safeway for with ease because the layout was easy. Will definitely make the drive up here to shop.

Went in at 7 am today. Was greeted by at least 3 or 4 safeway associates right away. Everyone was super nice and asked if I needed help finding anything. I accidentally used the item number button during self checkout to enter my phone number, but the attendant helped me fix it right away. They were very attentive and friendly, which I don't even get at my local grocery store. Could have been the time of day.

I’ve usual shop here after work. Always very clean and organized. I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Sheena!! I’ve left my cash back in the self check machine. I’ve called the store and Sheena told me she has it for me! She couldn’t get my attention when I’ve left the store. Thank you Safeway for having such a great and honest staff!!

The staff here is super friendly. I don't know how the manager chooses them, but all employees are super polite and helpful. I also noticed that most of them have been working there for a while which tells me they're treated with respect. I know Safeway is slightly more pricey than other stores, but I find coupons on things all the time in the Safeway app. I really enjoy shopping at this store.

Nice neighborhood grocery store, located with other shops and even a walking path in the back! Twice I walked with my daughter this week before shopping. When we shopped together, only the self check-outs were open. We'd brought our own bags and the darn self check out kept giving us error messages and we'd bag and rebag. What a hassle. (Does your store encourage the use of single- use plastic?)
Anyway, nice convenient store, clean, fair selection.

Very cool atmosphere. The credit goes to Anthony. YES!!! I have been going to this store since 2019 and also have been going to many other retail store but Anthony stand out of 1000s because of his customer care skill, awareness of his peripheral vision, due diligent, politeness, humbleness and who knows how many other talents he has. If I was a corporate manager I would make him a store manager right away.

First time I've been to the Safeway. I went there for a $10 off $50 purchase coupon. All the interactions I had were fantastic, the butcher, stock guy, and the cashier fantastic. Chicken thighs were almost double price from Aldi. I will go there again with the coupon

Tonight (6/17) I was shopping and (of course) grabbed way too many things to carry. I was fumbling around when Jerome walked up and asked if I needed a cart or anything. He then ran all the way up to the front and grabbed me a basket and helped me load my things into it. He was incredibly friendly and personable and that bit of kindness really made my day. I even saw him helping another person later! He really went above and beyond and I will definitely be making this my regular grocery store!

Three years ago this place was a mess, but with new management there's been considerable improvement. The managers and checkout people are helpful, friendly, and professional. If you've been avoiding this store because of previous experiences, give it another chance.

Good well organized and clean store. Good variety of products. Good quality produce. Some great sales. Some products can be expensive though. Location offers Western Union, but call and check to make sure system is up and running.

The staff at this Safeway location are willing to go the extra mile! When I thought they had charged me the wrong amount, but didn't have a receipt to go off of, they took the time to look through LOTS of receipts to get me my answer. Even though I was wrong, they were gracious, patient, and kind at every step--especially Karen, one of their managers. Thank you!

I always shop here and am very pleased with the store. Today they didn't have an advertised special and made sure I got a raincheck. They really went out of their way to make things right.

This Safeway has a BIGGER selection of products, than others that I have visited.
I am especially delighted that they carry the Pedialyte (freezie) pops!

I love SAFEWAY. It's a very friend,y local supermarket. I do most of my daily shopping there. I like to support our local supermarket so tha we can keep them in business. What I like the most is that I'm in and out in no time. I know exactly where everything is located ~ since it is not a big supermarket ; perfect size for me. I hate big supermarkets and hate to waste time walking all over just to find one item.

Is nice store, you find anything or everything that in some places you cannot find it.

IF A PERSON STARTS COUGHING IN A HOSPITAL THEY WILL CLEAR THE AREA AND DISINFECT AFTERWARDS.

IN GROCERY STORES BAGGERS AND CASHIERS WERE/ARE DAILY EXPOSED TO SICK PEOPLE WHO REFUSED TO MASK OR WONT VACCINATE BECAUSE reasons.

IN A HOSPITAL A DOCTOR OR NURSE CAN WALK AWAY FROM SOMEONE COUGHING OR SNEEZING.

CASHIERS AND BAGGERS ARE FORCED TO WATCH HELPLESSLY AS PEOPLE DAILY COUGH, SNEEZE, OR IGNORE SOCIAL DISTANCING BECAUSE -MOST- PEOPLE DONT LIKE BUYING GROCERIES BUT

EVERYONE

NEEDS

FOOD

(also toilet paper)

SO PLEASE SHOW AS MUCH RESPECT TO CASHIERS AND BAGGERS AT YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE THAT YOU WOULD SHOW DOCTORS AND NURSES.

Most don't make half what doctors and nurses do, and that is pure fact.
