Food Lion

This is my favorite grocery store around my area. Fresh and good quality of products but the entire staff rock it. Love their friendly and knoledge of the guys and girls that work there. I feel like they are my friends from long time ago. I gave them 6 stars

I have to do an update to my previous review. So there is a AWESOME Food Lion employee in the deli named Skye. She is the nicest and most responsive grocery store employee I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in a grocery store. I can’t say enough nice things about her and her willingness to assist a customer and go above and beyond. I appreciate her so much. Food Lion I hope you look at these and know how lucky you are to have Skye as an employee. I have been coming there just because of her ( and the shredded chicken for my foster cat Lol) and as a result I grab other items Where before that honestly, I maybe went to Food Lion three or four times a year even though it’s the closest grocery store to me

I Usually have a good experience in this grocery store. It’s close to my house and where I go if I need something fast. Nice they have curbside pickup now and their store club generates some decent coupons. All in all I recommend it. Now if they could just Lysol wipes and spray.....

I called the grocery department with a question about Cheerwine soda. I was told that they did not stock Cheerwine, but management was very nice about it. I found the conversation so pleasant I gave them five stars for courtesy alone.

Very nice clean store. Had everything I needed and more. Was looking for "Cube Steak" and found it here. Also great price on Easter candy

This location has been great during the pandemic! Cleaning every self check machine once each customer were complete with their transactions! The store is always clean and the employees are always customer service friendly! We will not forget the loyalty shown to the community's member during a time of need

I went on a Saturday mid-day, expecting long lines but it was not the case. Lots of people shopping for Thanksgiving but they had plenty of cashiers - I walked right up and checked out. The store was fully stocked. Great experience. 👍 I love this store.

I love my local Food Lion😍 always clean! Everyone is friendly! Lines move fast! All the Self checkout lanes are always functioning! They always have what I need! Fresh meat( never seen them defrosting meat in the case🙂) oh! And the prices are cheaper than 2 of the other main chains😁

Although the store is under renovation and there are fewer cold cases and no customer service deak, we were still able to find everything on our grocery list and get help when we needed it. Checkout was fast and friendly and our bagger paid attention to our items such that our bread and chips were not smashed.

Great clean store, keep those awesome low prices coming. Im buying more than I have in the past from here these days. Bathroom clean however whomever remodeled didn't align the tissue box properly the space is so tight.

I'm a new customer to Food Lion and the people are great. Even though I see Ihop next to it,which is the restaurant that racially profiled me on Veteran's Day and the waitress patronized me- which is a constant reminder of where I will never go again- it is next to it..
The customer service is great. The prices are great. I usually go on post at Fort Belvoir to get my groceries, but Food Lion has my loyalty as long their customer service stays the same. They can have my money. The prices are great for many items and I can balance between there, the Middle Eastern Stores and the Commissary, how to budget for food and other supplies. I like going there, it's more fun to shop. My friend got me into going yo Food Lion two months ago. I can spend 70 bucks for two people and the way I cook it lasts me up to ten days! The only downside is, that their vegetable selection is limited. But that's fine, I just go to the military base. I recommend it. I am really happy how the cashiers interact with the customers, they are friendly and very helpful.. I was a cashier in my mid 20's, of course it is a bit different nowadays with the pandemic. So I know what it it is like to work in a grocery store.
I recommend the store for small pick and medium size shopping-but that's just my opinion, I don't have any small kids anymore.

I've been going there for a few years. Plenty parking,easy in and out. Prices are very reasonable and I find the quality and choices on beef greater than the competition. I wish it was closer to me. Hey and the staff is real nice people.

Went for a light shop. This store is clean and well organized. The deli is why I go here. The guy behind the counter is very good at his job and takes pride in his work.

Not too busy, decent selection, good prices on store brand items, many discounts on brand items. Cashier gave us MVP discount even though we're not members. Didn't have to battle the hordes at Walmart!

Always a good place to shop a lot of great sales weekly and a great hot food bar with wings

I'm torn with Food Lion. Much cheaper and I like their Rewards program that they offer with digital coupons. They do not have some brands that I like for my toddler which is happy baby or happy tot. They carry some but not all the products. Also, I'm not happy with their produce section. Not much to choose from and I've gotten produce that just doesn't look healthy. So usually shop there and one other place to get everything I need for my family. Overall though I'm happy with the prices and I will keep going back.

I go to this store often to as it is in the area that I live in. They are always clean and they have a good selection of products.

I love the fact that the staff are so helpful. More than once I have asked the staff where to find something and they all have it memorized so easy directions were given quickly.

I have and will always go to this store for quick groceries.

Just sad they didn't have any kinky. Damn they had navy beans.

I always know what to expect when I visit this area and I shop at Food Lion. Further up north there is no Food Lion but I can always expect to be greeted with a smile and use clean bathrooms. Every time I go I end up spending more than I wanted to spend because they have such good deals.
