Plato's Closet Boca Raton

I LOVE this store. Just went last night and the team was amazing and helpful!!! I was greeted at the front door and asked if I needed help. The store was clean and clothes were great. The assistant manager, Sophia was very helpful and explained the buying process clearly. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!!

This was my daughter s+ my very first time at any Plato’s closet… we had heard about this place, but they were mixed reviews so we didn’t have high hopes. We could NOT have been more wrong or surprised!! This is a great shop with tons of options for everyone!! (regardless of your size + shape!)

Sometimes stores like these are an absolute wreck! Close all over the place like a hodgepodge, things falling off hangers, etc. but Plato’s closet was very streamlined + even more importantly… exceptionally organized!! Each type of item was on its own rack + then separated, according to sizes, which made finding some thing very easily!

But if you did need help, there were many staff on hand + they all seemed willing + able to answer any questions. Though one of the girls really stood out… JASMINE !! … JASMINE was incredibly kind + very helpful! She was more than happy to help you find what you were looking for or if you needed help finding a different size! Plus when I asked her for certain type of clothing… JASMINE didn’t just point me in a direction… She was more than willing to take us there herself + to standby ready to help or to answer any questions we might have! Thank you JASMINE !! Your friendliness + your willingness to help us enhanced our shopping experience tenfold!

The 1st time I came in the manager said they are always putting out new stuff, so I went in for the 2nd time on 10/21 & it was different staff. Not a great experience. Not welcoming & not helpful at all!! The girls behind the counter looking at clothes couldn't be bothered. Decided to give it 1 more try. Went in on 10/28 & the other girls were there. Great experience again, boy the difference in staff really makes an impact!!

i have been a loyal shopper of plato's. i usually do not go into the boca one. when i did i was flabbergasted. I first asked for help my someone named tori, the only response i got was a side eye. i saw the same attitude from jasmine and gabi. severely unprofessional. the only person that was willing to help me was jayden. i am only giving five stars because of jayden.

Went in today around 5:10 pm looking to ask questions. The employees behind the counter were proactive and very helpful. It really was a great experience!

I had read the previous Good and bad reviews. I took my 15 year old granddaughter there for the first time. She loved it was treated respectfully. She found a few items she had been wanting at great prices. I was surprised to see 2X-3X clothing there. Great options for all sizes. Definitely going back! The employees continually were working processing new clothes brought in. I appreciated having a place to sit while she shopped.

First time in the store and had a very pleasant experience. Anytime anyone enter the store they were greeted with a welcome. Found a lot of great deals at great prices.
The store smelled really nice and everything was neatly hung and color-coded. Wasn’t sure if the clothes had actually been cleaned or not? Going to wash anyway just in case even though they do smell like laundry detergent. Anyone know if clothing is cleaned before selling?

I generally love this location staff is always nice and prices are really good. They always have new inventory pleasant layout of the store.

But I must say when I come in the girls aren’t appropriately dressed for work. Being that all ages come in the store. I guess this normal for boca. There are a lot young girls that come in with their moms trying to find decent clothes.

Amazing store and great customer service! The staff is always very nice and helpful. The store is organized and I’ve made lots of finds here. Compared to other stores like this you can tell Plato’s only accept good quality and current styles.

I’ve sold clothes a couple times and never been disappointed, what they pay you is fair considering how inexpensive they end up selling them for. Ppl should keep this in mind, it’s honestly amazing to be able to bring your clothes and get money on the spot w no effort.
I recommend everyone to give it a visit!😊

They buy brands that sell the most like forever 21. They also look for “trendy clothing”. They looked at all my clothing and I brought in two trash bags. Let’s be real it’s basically a thrift shop.. so they sell the clothing for cheap how much do you really expect to get? Look at the prices they have for clothing while you wait it’s reasonable prices. They bought 2 men’s items for $5 and 10 lady’s items for $32.75. Clothes I don’t wear ,so to walk out with $37 bucks is way more then I expected. To give you some ideas I guess they bought my girlfriends forever 21 jeans and some dress shirts. For me they bought a button up T and a red polo. I had dress pants from high up brands and they didn’t want them so keep the in mind. They focus mainly on female clothing it seems.

Now the staff... all of them happened to be younger females so maybe that’s why they bought more of the lady’s clothing. I went 20 minutes after they opened and it was busy so keep that in mind if you are in a rush. None of them were rude to me but they didn’t show much expression or customer service. It’s a boring job I’m sure so I don’t hold that against anyone. Also like I said they had a lot of people so it was a 30 minute wait just to get my clothing looked at.

They pay cash unless you leave clothing overnight, in which case you get store credit.

I’ve been coming here for years and have found amazing items in great condition! Their style is always up to date and a lot of clothing items still have the tags on them. Chloe is the best! She’s always happy to help me find something on the rack or get me in a fitting room! Overall this is the best Platos location I have been to.

Absolutely loved the store and noticed that there are so many high end name brands and most items were still very new with the original tags on. The staff was also very helpful, friendly, and informative when It came to explaining how the buying works. I honestly prefer to shop at Platos Closet in Boca way more than any mall just cause you really pay less for the same styles.

Very nice clothes and affordable prices. I bought a waxed mini short for $6:00. It fitted perfectly. I am very happy. Definitely I will comeback again

Went in to sell some clothes and made $45 -- the people working where super nice and the store smelled GREAT (like the beach) -- I've sold to Boynton Beach before and they are just nasty -- THIS IS MY NEW PLATO"S CLOSET!!! Heard they also opened one in Wellington headed out there this weekend!!

Love it there! Found some of my favorite brands for super cheap and got to sell some of my old things for more than I expected. For someone who loves thrift stores this one is probably one of the best place I've been to.
