Great place to do shopping for Uber Eats drivers! Staff is way friendly compared to the ones in Mira Mesa. BTW, if anyone needs to make a pit stop and needs to use the restroom, the code is 2012

A worker named Michael was very kind and patient, helping me find a bunch of items that I was struggling with and gave a suggestion on what item to get, and we loved it!

Great selection of fresh meats, at good prices including beef, pork , bison and even venison.

I like that they carry sugar free cake and cookies but they don't always have them. When they do I grab them up because it's hard to find sugar free items that actually taste good.

Ricardo in the meat department is very knowledgeable about the products offered in the meat department. I told him what I will cook, and he will recommend and cut the proper piece of meat for my needs. He has excellent customer service skills to ensure customers have a great experience shopping in Vons. Thank you, Ricardo!

I wanted to comment on Ashley, the young lady who was my checker yesterday. Not only was she fast (I could not keep up putting my groceries on the conveyor), but she was bright and cheerful. I had gone through her line in the past, usually late in the day, then she disappeared. She informed me she was doing more early day shifts, and that she liked her job at Von’s a lot. It shows. I remember when she was a “box boy” starting off not that long ago. She made rank fast. Once again, Ashley made my grocery checkout a most pleasant experience, and I had to let somebody know.

There’s not much to say about Vons. I gave it five stars because you get what you pay for. It is an average price grocery store. The sushi here is surprisingly amazing and I get that all the time. Other than that I usually get standard stuff like yogurt and milk but I get my produce elsewhere from Whole Foods or something like that. This is equivalent to the publics of the south without the subs.

The pharmacy staff here is very friendly and helpful. So far I have not had any issues parking either, unlike some of the other strip mall shopping areas in University city. In my book, this is a much better Vons than the one on Governor drive.

Updated review to 5 stars as they stopped selling the unregistered teas and left them in the 6pks. A great store overall with good service and good product variety. A go-to spot for me. The folks at the food counter are always fantastic.

This is the first time I visited this store. Everyone from outside to inside the store greeted and was super friendly. Staff helped me to find the item by taking me to the right aisle and location though they were busy in some other work. What a service !! I would love to go there again.

Nice place to pick up some groceries

Very clean store that is well organized. Staff is efficient and kind. Plenty of parking and in a good location. Offers social distancing guidelines and has a self checkout section. Includes a bakery, deli, pharmacy, starbucks, and meat/produce department.

The young lady at Starbucks. I think her name was Karli made one of the best drinks. I've had in my entire life.

You can really save a lot by using the phone app... Just select the items/coupons and it's added to your list. When you checkout present your app/phone number, and you save!

The staff there are very helpful and they even bag your groceries!

My favorite store in the world now lol I used to be a big aldis and Kroger shopper! The deals at bins are undeniably good! They have coupons that you can redeem free food for! Their customer service is literally the best! They always acknowledge me when I walk in there, it makes the shopping experience so much more fun to walk in! They remember you even with a mask on so I will always go back!!!

Great place with a wide selection of groceries and international food as well. The meat and poultry section is really good, fresh seafood as well! They also have my favorite Cheesecake Factory brown bread! So it’s a winner!

What I love most is the staff. Friendly and helpful. Produce always fresh, so I don’t mind paying little extra. I live in Chula Vista but do my weekly shopping at this La Jolla store, it’s about 18 mile drive but well worth it. Store is well stocked and very clean.

Don't get me started on this Vons. I've been going to this phone for two years each and every employee have showed me respect. What I also like about it they're getting a little color for their employees which is awesome. I will continue to shop at this long as long as I live in La Jolla.

I've usually been shopping at some rival UTC grocery stores, but recently they've always had lines out the door. As much as I would love working on my tan while in line at a grocery store, I felt it was time for a new spot. Lo and behold, this store right down the street.

Medium sized store with a fresh selection of produce. Not as much organic choices as Whole Foods say, and a little pricier than Trader Jos, but overall I've been able to find most things on my shopping list. The store happened to be out of household cleaning supplies when I went on a Wednesday afternoon, but that's not unexpected in present climes.

Watch out for club sales - they are worth it!
