Alamo Candy Company

We have driven by Alamo Candy Company dozens of times, but today, we stopped to do some shopping and looking around. Alamo Candy Company is amazing. Not only do they sell candies but blankets, aprons, raspa syrup. We had some problems finding something in particular, and a staff member helped us and gave us some suggestions. Even if you're not looking for Candy, they have a huge selection of other items that would be great and unique Christmas gifts.

Made a quick stop to this unique candy store and found it to be very reasonable in pricing. Large variety and individual packs available. They have so many candy options to fill a piñata, give to guests, Halloween, ect. I bought my favorite tamarind pulp and found souvenir candy! Stop in and get your mouth watered! They also had a ton of really cool trinkets and decor.

Really fun place to visit and get candies you normally won't find anywhere else. Great for buying large quantities.

I love this place, so I came to pick up my son's favorite snacks. He and his brothers in arms are patiently waiting for the package to arrive. My Marine is reluctantly😋 going to share the Mexican candies he's always talking about with them.

First time here. We enjoyed ourselves! There is a plethora amount of candies and snacks here. So many to choose from! A lot of nostalgic candies as well! The prices are decent. Definitely will return! They also had a Big Boy statue in the back! Super cool!

Candy for days. I was so impressed by the selection. It seems as if they have some of everything. I saw candy from back in my mom's era. All the aisles are organized well and clutter free. It was so nostalgic walking around and looking at all the selections. I heard that if you are looking for something they don't have, they will try to order it for you. Awesome place to check out. However, if you brings your kids they may not want to leave.

I love this place. I always find the best goodies, sour candies, spicy candies, and pretty cool merchandise. I highly recommend this place for party bags of candies.

An awesome find in San Antonio, especially for those candy lovers out there. The selection is endless and almost exhausting. There are so many great options for your sweet tooth. The Alamo Candy Company has a great selection of San Antonio favorites along with a traditional selection of your favorite candies of all time. Need help finding something- just ask. The staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Both the big red soda and syrup are good I was just passing thru SA and decided to stop glad I did hopefully I can go back.

I love going to this place. It has so many selections of candies and snacks. They also have bulk items for anyone selling for fundraisers or snack carts. This place has it all. I highly recommend visiting at least once. You'll feel overwhelmed at first but every section has particular candy. You have sour belts, spicy candies, sweet candies, cotton candy, nacho items,Pinata and etc. Below is just one shelf of items.

So glad to have this place in San Antonio! If you're looking for Mexican candies or for that matter, any of your all time favorite candies, this is your one stop shop. Alamo Candy always has a fun vibe to it and like they say, "You're like a kid in a candy store". The selection of tasty treats is enormous, like nothing I ever seen. Alamo Candy caters both to walk-in customers and businesses. Walking into to this place with your kids can be dangerous...lol

I’ve been buying this candy brand for so many years and have never been disappointed. It was awesome to finally be able to check out their store location. Even with the mass crowds and what seemed like hundreds of different brands of candy the entire store was clean and shelves were stocked. After loading up some boxes full of this candy I still am not tired of them, I just love their candy and will continue to eat it

I love this place i have been coming here for years almost 2 decades very convenient for parties i lived in Dallas for 17 yrs and everytime i came home to San Antonio Alamo candy was always on my list of places to visit and they accept food stamps for all the people who get them the cashier was a dear very friendly always a pleasure...Always

Love this place! Second time coming here since it moved locations. Still has a lot of the old favorites (but I hope they bring the plain mango sour belts back soon). Highly recommend if you're looking for fair-priced sweet treats for yourself or as party favors.

This place is a local favorite that sells plenty of local candy. You'll find their products in almost all of the local gas stations. But you won't gonna everything anywhere but here.
Give them a stop and you won't be disappointed, unless you don't enjoy candy.

Lots and lots of candy and party supplies. You can also find some unique gifts. They also sell in bulk. I definitely will be back whenever I'm in San Antonio. 🤤💜
