Dude was super nice, he gave me the strings and picks I needed for a few dollars less that what he charged because that's all I had. Definitely recommend.

Deveir is an excellent technician and local shop owner. I’ve brought a thin line tele and a Stratocaster for him to set up. Both instruments are a joy to play. The man cares about his craft. The owner there is very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a Guitar setup done there back in June and I couldn't be happier with the work. It took him a little longer than he originally said but he also said he wanted to make sure it was right, which goes a long way in my book. I will be visiting this store again real soon!

This place might be the best guitar shop I will ever walk into and here’s why:
I bought a very pretty and expensive guitar from a local jockey lot and loved playing it but there were issues I had with it however the guy who built it didn’t fix it despite saying he would. This had me very upset for a long time because I couldn’t play my favorite licks. A year went by and the more guitars I played from my local guitar shop the more skeptical I became of guitar shops and the hardware was so bad for the price I wanted to pay. It was really hard for me to pay $1,400 for an OKAY medium/low action guitar and I really started to lose faith in myself and guitar shops, and then one day I was needing to pick up some gear so I walked into Midtown Music. I was instantly greeted with wonderful hospitality and beautiful WELL PLAYING guitars. I sat down and played a few guitars and realized what I had been missing. That day my guitar playing was rejuvenated. I like this place so much that I will just buy random stuff I don’t actually need because of my desire I support this business. Not only did they fix my guitar but I also bought another telecaster that I really REALLY love. The people are amazing, the hardware is impeccable and the price is unbeatable. Finding those three qualities in the same store is harder than finding a unicorn, and it it just so happens to be within 40 minutes of my house. I am so grateful for what they have done for me and no amount of money could ever repay them for the joy they have provided me. The bottom line is, this place is more than just a music shop. I’m so glad to have found these people and they will have my business as long as I live within 1000 miles of this place. I leave with an ear to ear grin every time. Thank you so much Midtown Music.

Dropped off a new guitar with some shoddy wiring (looking at you, Gibson) on a Thu and picked up on a Saturday. Fair price, friendly staff, very nice store. My guitar works as it should now and, even better, I've found a place to handle the work I don't trust myself to do.

I left my baritone guitar for a minor repair and also installed a LR Baggs pickup. Not only was the quality of the work amazing, but he went above and beyond to research the exact equipment that would be best for my specific needs. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing guitar repairs or modifications.

They installed a set of pickups in a telecaster for me, and performed a full set up and a wiring mod and did it all in house. I’ve been playing that tele for a while now and everything is perfect. Great place with great prices and great skill set.

I've taken two guitars in for service in the last couple of months. Very pleased with the work done and the amount of information shared with me by the owner. Prices for the work done were reasonable as well. I've purchased a cable and some Elixirs that were the same price as what I was paying online. Rather keep my money in the community so this is where I'm shopping now.

Exceeded my expectations by a mile. Took my acoustic in for setup and strings. Got back what may as well have been a new guitar. Action is perfect, and it plays so much better. Highly recommend stopping in for whatever music need you may have.

I bug these folks about once a month by coming in and playing their guitars, and talking persistently about anything guitar-related that pops into my head.

They have handled my annoying habit of hitting them with a verbal firehose with grace and endless kindness.

I, finally, purchased a guitar this week.... Despite having done some homework on the guitar, I still didn't know the extent of the significance it held in the pantheon of Stratocaster history until after I paid for it. I loved it from the moment I saw it, so that was my motivation. However, it means much more now, knowing the full story of the guitar. The condition of this 40 year old guitar is PERFECT! Like I used a time machine to travel to 1984 to purchase it.

They offer lessons, studio availability, recital hall, as well as an open mic on the first Tuesday of every month. convenient location and friendly environment.

A small music shop with a great variety of music items. Guitars, and guitar accesories, as well as supplies for concert instruments and strings. I was not aware until recently that this shop existed. I will definately make this my new goto shop for strings and such. Owner was very cool and prices were excellent.
