Best beef we have cooked! BB quality made me look good when we had family and guests over for dinner. They have some cuts of beef I have not seen in the grocery store and when we tried them, we loved them. Every time I go to the BB shop, I experience great customer service and professionalism.
We used to drive from Albany to their Salem location - it was worth the drive for the taste- but now they have a store in Albany and I couldn’t be happier.

Better beef company makes better meals. Love all the different cuts of beef, some I can't find anywhere else. The prices are great... you pay for what you get and what you get is really good beef.

I’d almost given up on steak until Better Beef. Each kind we’ve tried from Better Beef has been tender and flavorful—far and above what we’d eaten at many pricey restaurants. When in doubt about the best way to cook or season a particular cut, their staff has eagerly shared their expertise. I’m a Better Beef believer!

The home delivery is so convenient! I don't have to worry about remembering to squeeze in a stop in my busy schedule. The chuck steak is our family go too! Tender, juicey and so flavourful. We did our first pot roast with the chuck roast. Also very good!.

I practice a carnivore lifestyle. I eat meat, eggs and full fat dairy. That’s it. Ninety percent of what I eat is the 80/20 ground burger from the Better Beef Company. If you are not buying your beef here, you are really missing out on the best beef I have ever had. I’m sooooo not joking here. I love that I can support local farmers over giant corporations, too. I have some pretty severe TMJ and the ground burger is tender enough for me to eat with ease. The staff at the South Salem store is OUTSTANDING! I bought a LOT of burger at the end of the year to take advantage of their very generous promotion. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get it all in my very small freezer. The young man working there told me he has a small apartment style freezer and was able to “Tetris” in as much as I was buying. (I loved how he turned Tetris into a verb.) What do you know…I sure was able to as well! God bless our local farmers. GOD BLESS THEM! May humanity wake up and realize that beef is the healthiest thing for us and for the environment. That’s a fact. Thank you Better Beef Company for helping me to live my best life!

Their beef is so incredibly juicy and tender - they sell big prime grade equivalent cuts for prices per lb cheaper than Walmart's beef department. I've ordered Dino ribs, ground beef, and new York steaks now from them. The ground beef is great, but the ribs and and steaks are FANTASTIC. The only way you're gonna beat these out in quality locally is spending more than quadruple the amount per lb on wagyu.

You'll be able to feed a family of 4 for two whole amazing meals with the amount of beef you can get for ~$30 here.

My husband stopped here the other day and came out very impressed. He bought a beef box that we’ve started to get into and we are definitely happy with the quality of meat that Better Beef offers. He said the man working in the store was knowledgeable, and explained how it’s locally grown etc.. also, the meat is packaged really nice. We feel a lot better eating meat that we know where it’s coming from and from a company we feel like we can trust. We will be return customers! :)

Hands down the best steaks I’ve ever bought in Salem. We got two Rib Eyes nearly 1 pound each and they were perfect. High on flavor, perfect texture and about the same price as grocery stores but much better quality. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for is the Rib Eyes were frozen and it appears most steaks in there are. The only reason this was an issue is because I bought them at about noon for a special dinner at 5pm. We will absolutely be buying steaks from them again and I strongly recommend them.

Got a tomahawk, ribeye and New York. Incredible flavor, idk if I have ever had beef that has tasted this good. I will not be going anywhere else. Great prices as well!

Beef is well worth the money. We bought a filet mignon that was so juicy and tender. One fed two people.

These guys know their beef! We got 4lbs of Korean style ribs (flanken cut) and they were perfectly marbled, phenomenal flavor and fresh (no freezer burn at all). I 100% recommend grabbing your beef here at not some grocery store where you aren't sure what you're feeding your family. Walk in and the service and communication will speak volumes then the beef finishes the statement for them!

Staff were so helpful and professional. The prices were reasonable and best of all, locally grown. Well laid out store but most beef in vacuum packed frozen packages. Haven't bbq'd anything yet but am excited about tasting everything.

Tastes just like the beef we would raise when I lived on a farm. It’s so yummy, the flavor is amazing and the best part is that I don’t get heartburn from eating it.

Got some tri tip and New York from these guys and it was AMAZING! Far better than anywhere else I’ve gone in Salem and well priced. The part that amazed me was the customer service that you just don’t get with big chain stores. If you ask them they actually know where the beef comes from, they know the butchering/aging process it went through and work with you to get the exact cut you are after. I will be supporting them and spreading the name so people can remember what quality was before big chains came along.
