Spinx

Back in the 90’s, I used to work at St Francis and would frequent the Spinx on 123 / Academy to get gas. The inside of the store always smelled amazing of homemade fried chicken. Fast forward 25 years, and my husband was talking about their fried chicken today. We went by the Spinx on Mills Ave near Memorial. We stopped to get chicken to take home. I am shocked to say this, but that is some of the best fried chicken I have had that was not made at home. The staff was very helpful and kind. We don’t splurge on fried chicken much (not the healthiest), but Spinx surpasses the fast food fried chicken restaurants and Publix in my opinion. Well done! And the okra is great too!

Caution at night due to area

On 10/24/19 - 11:10 pm stopped to get cigs, cappuccino and drinks on my way home , I live nearby so I am a frequent customer. French vanilla cappuccino not working so I opened door to machine seen it was empty told the girl working it was out asked if she knew where it was ( I was going to put some in their for her, she seemed new to store ) was told the whole machine is messed up but truth be told she just didnt want to fill the hopper she seemed aggravated and while standing in line I could tell by the way she looked and her attitude to customers that she is not a happy camper. We all have bad days tottaly understand , even more so for me , worked in C-Store over 25 yrs so I truley understand jus hope her customer service gets better at least say Thank - U .
