The Open Book Northridge

Love this place, I can spend an easy hour in the blink of a few minutes here looking around. There is a true treasure chest of books at this bookstore and great employees who are attentive. Highly recommend.

Found 5 coloring books for 5$ ! The store is beautiful. They also have toys, and I collect beanie babies so it was nice to find a few there!

A great place to look for books. Not sure if you want to get then pull-up a chair after cozy as you scheme through the book. Like to play chess pull-up a chair and play. Looking for trinkets go to the back corner and find some. Service is always great there.

Great place, I come here for the YA and sci-fi+ fantasy section, and they do sales all the time so the prices are great if you know when to come!!!

A well stocked and friendly local bookstore that sells new and used books. A real gem in an era where locally owned and operated bookstores are hard to find and often disorganized and gloomy, this place is well organized, bright and airy with charming touches.

Great used bookstore! Plenty to choose from and just really nice to casually roam through it. I especially like the staff picks section at the front.

I don't know how anyone could give this store less than one star. The staff were extremely nice the selection was huge! I came in to pick up a few more Firearms books to give as gifts for my dad because he still refuses to use Google they had an amazing gardening section that I might swing back by for my mom.I can wholeheartedly in good conscience recommend this store to anyone who still enjoys books

I sometimes make it a point while running other errands to stop at Open Book, often leaving with a purchase.

It is a real life honest to goodness used bookstore that is comfortable with a good selection in my primary area of history and my wife's primary area of mystery.

Now, if they will only give me store credit for buying a book today which I found was already on my shelves when I got home...

Very cool bookstore and a great find in the Valley! They had a great selection of books across genres and a wonderful staff too!

It’s a smaller book shop but it’s easy to get lost in their aisles! So many books at great prices! Went in the first time and walked out with roughly 15 books. Can’t stress how cool this place is. If you have some free time soon then please take a quick break to go check it out! Really friendly staff that’ll be more than glad to help you out!

Bought 2 great books there for cheap. Big fan of their “book dates”. Great hole in the wall bookstore.

Love this bookstore. Have been going since 2020. I’m glad that they are expanding meaning they won’t be shutting down soon. Independent used bookstores are no long plentiful so it’s nice to know we still have them and their prices haven’t changed much. Love this place!

Great store. Pamela and Jeffery were very helpful and kind. I unknowingly came during “Happy Hour” and received a 20% discount and received a book card. I spent longer than anticipated due to the immense amount of books! Definitely recommend!

The Open Book is a hidden gem! I love this shop. It transports me to another place and time. The book selection is vast and organized well and are in very good condition. There is a large children's section and a wall of antique books organized by color I have sold some of my personal library to them a few times too. They also have some fun vintage tchotchkes and art and photo postcards as well! It always makes my day to pay a visit to The Open Book!

Great bookstores are a rarity and this one is as well. What a great place! The vibe is so creative and the selection is really fine. I went hoping to find a rate item as a gift and I found exactly what I wanted. Great prices, too.

I love this place! It's super cute and they have such cool books. It's a great vibe to just hang out and explore cool used books. A friend and I once found an old ben franklin's almanac for like 10$! I just bought my political psychology major brother a bunch of political books and they were all like 6-8$

This bookstore makes me happy! Love, love, love this place! Great selection of books, great prices, helpful staff, and a fun place to spend an hour or two. The parking is difficult so be prepared and patient!
